I really love the Premier Parfait Chunky yarn for crocheting amigurumis but it is more expensive to buy it on Amazon compared to their website. That being said, you can't beat prime shipping so well worth it. The yarn does shed but I think most Super Bulky yarns do that.

I bought this yarn looking to make a strawberry crocheted blanket with my partner and the pattern involved beginning with a magic circle that’s meant to cinch together stitches. I knew with a bulkier weighted yarn like this one, it is best to use a larger crochet hook and very little tension.When going to pull the yarn tight, the soft fibers separated from the inner thread and would get knotted and tangled with my other stitches.I found a way to get around this, however, just by using a lighter weight yarn for the circle and then used the parfait yarn to crochet into it so the material doesn’t get in its own way.Overall, this is a really pretty and soft yarn true to the color featured in the photos and turned out to be almost exactly what I expected for the low price.
