YnMExclusive Cotton Duvet Cover for Weighted Blankets with 16 Strings (Dark Grey, 48"x72")

After learning my mistakes in not buying a cover for my previous weighted blanket, I am incredibly satisfied with this cover. I love the color. The ties inside hold the blanket well. First "install" was a bit tricky since it was my first, but I figured it out easily enough. It's so comfortable and soft. I do get a bit hot in the summer, but I just turn the AC down more lol. The product came packaged well, and it's pretty durable.

This weighted blanket is super comfy and a great value for the money. The weight of the blanket is perfect for winding down at night before bed and is warm enough without being too hot. I purchased the gray color and it matches well with my bedding. I also purchased the duvet cover for more versatility and ease of care.

I don't often do reviews unless I discover a product on Amazon that goes way beyond my expectations. I also never thought I'd write a review on a weighted blanket cover, but here I am! I highly recommend this YnM cover as well as the YnM weighted blanket I ordered.The cover is really well made (with a zipper opening along the bottom that is well concealed along the seam) and was already comfy soft right out of the package. The colors were true to what was advertised. The manufacturer's info mentions that the material will become even softer with additional washes. I washed in cold water on the delicate setting and let the cover dry on a rack before connecting to my blanket.The cover has eight ties sewn internally that align with the loops on YnM and likely other weighted blankets. The ties are located on each corner and directly in the middle of each side. To connect the cover to the blanket, I simply turned the cover inside out, did a single loop shoelace tie on each loop/tie.Tip for those who may be new to weighted blankets or the concept of covers in general: After you connect the blanket to the cover, stick your arms in and all the way through the cover and grab onto the two corners furthest away from you. Pull the corners all the way out until they are now on the outside and the blanket is on the inside. I know this is probably obvious to a lot of people, but you really don't know what you don't know. :)If you buying as a gift, the packaging the cover comes in is well done and definitely not treated as an afterthought as sometimes happens with manufacturer's on Amazon.

The bamboo feel is a lovely “silky” to the touch. The fabric is a single layer, thin with no lining. So, I’m not sure whether this will be durable in the long run. But, the reason I returned it was only because it is overpriced for the quality provided. The inside ties are only 4 inches long, which makes it difficult for adult size hands to tie bows. Also the “ties” are just ribbons, stitching was delicate and I would have needed to reinforce it. Also, I don’t think the fabric will withstand repeated machine washings due to the thin fabric. If I were to have kept it, I would have only hand washed it in cold water. The sizing was ample, and allowed for shrinkage. I would have kept it, but I have a Pendleton cover that is lined, beautifully stitched, with ties that are 7 inches long that was sold for the same price as this one. Both made in China, but the quality of the Pendleton is superior, and appears more durable. Unfortunately, the Pendleton cover is hot to sleep with in the summer. So, my search is still on.

We ordered the navy blue cotton cover, and it's been great. Yes, it comes with lots of ties...because it's designed to accommodate different brands of weighted blankets. We've had no problems. The cover is soft cotton and gets softer every wash. Color hasn't faded yet (still navy blue). This was a good decision because 1) it keeps the weighted blanket clean, 2) it's pretty, and 3) it's soft. Peer pressure: DO IT!

Despite the mixed reviews, I decided to order the cover for my blanket so I can wash it and just in case the beads ever come out they would spill into the cover rather than my bed. I ordered the 48 x 72 cover to match the size of my blanket, and it's a good fit. The blanket has 8 loops and the cover has 8 ties. It's always difficult putting any blanket into a duvet cover, and I think it's a little more so with a weighted blanket. The first time I did it, even though I thought I was being careful, I apparently twisted the blanket and I didn't even see two of the ties, so it didn't seem like a good fit. I took it apart and started all over again, and it's actually made very well. Each short end has three ties to hold it securely and there's one additional tie on each long end. There's only about an inch of extra fabric around each side, and I have had no trouble with my blanket coming loose inside the cover. The bamboo fabric is lovely -- soft and silky, and it stays cool so I don't get overheated at night. I'm really happy with my YnM set.

The media could not be loaded.  Cover is recommended as to keep actual weighted blanket clean. It’s like having a large pillowcase for your weighted blanket with a zippered closure. Notice the texture on this model opposite side is identical. It feels cozy and slinky against the skin. Our Zonli blanket comes with (4) edge loops on each side for attaching any cover. This cover only comes with three on each side but does not pose any problem at all, cover still secures the blanket internally. Zipper on cover is fully protected and does not come in contact with other fabrics or pajamas.Although description does not mention any water proofing abilities is has a water resistance quality to it; we spilled a cup of coffee on this, coffee pooled on the surface and did not soak in. Paper towels soaked up the mess. Two months into its use we washed the cover. It did not shrink when tossed in our drier. We are very pleased with this purchase.

I was surprised how smooth this cover feels! It's so silky and nice.

This is a perfect cover for a queen size weighted blanket. Has hooks all around to hold blanket firmly. Easy to insert blanket; I did the insertion on my own & it was easy.The material is soft and cozy on the skin. Very happy with my purchase.
