You can make these look good but your going to have to be more creative and work harder to make it look good. The feathers are factory trimmed and lot of them arrived frayed and just weren’t pretty or useable for smudge fans.That being said...IF you pick the prettier ones and line them up strategically and nicely then it CAN work and you can make something nice things. I was able to make 3 large fans from the feathers.The feathers were just eh. My resourceful and craftsmanship were the saving grace in these projects. If you know that and have these expectations in mind. It’s not the worst purchase. I easily made my money back on them and my customers loved their fans.

I ordered 2 bags of these feathers to use for Maleficent wings for Halloween costume. I was worried that I didn't have enough from another source. A lot of these feather had jagged edges and we're real choppy looking. I also ordered these from the original seller and those looked much better. The ones from Amazon I had to go through all of them and separate the good from the bad and the bad pile was way bigger. Fortunately I was still able to use them on certain parts of the wings after cutting half of the length off of each feather.

Price was good, about 10 weren't useable for my project due to defects, but unlike another batch I bought (no longer available from seller) there were close to equal amounts of right and left facing feathers, which was important for my project.

Nice quality, uniform color. Not as large as expected.

many beatip feathers almost all have had the tips scissor cut. Not good.

What happened to the bird that donated these feathers? Did you get it from a Cockfight? Was it still alive when you plucked it? Was it molting? Did it have bird flu? Was it involved in an oil spill, like in the dishwashing liquid commercials? Because these feathers are absolutely craptastic! I could barely salvage 5 out of the 50 in the pack! They look mangy and if i still was in my return window I would send them back. What's worse is that this company is the major supplier for feathers on Amazon! If I could give a zero, I'd give a negative score!
