Great banana bread mix
This Gonanas frosted vanilla banana cake mix came out great. It requires 2-3 bananas, oil, milk and honey. It was very easy to make and it was ready in the recommended time frame. The mix by itself is good and plenty sweet, but my son loves cream cheese frosting so I frosted some of the muffins and they were extra good that way. The cake is very soft and moist. Great tasting vegan banana cake mix.

Good but too sweet
I absolutely love GF banana bread, but this was just much too sweet and we could only eat a tiny bit of it. This coming from a major sweet tooth. Maybe it is just this flavor? If you love SUPER sweet, this is your bread. Maybe omit the addition of honey or maple syrup would make it work better.

Yummy vegan splurge!
You’ll have to forgive the look of my banana bread here, I’m pretty sure my three giant bananas were the equivalent of five normal sized bananas. So, too much banana turned this bread into something more like a bread pudding. But I’m not complaining, it was super tasty and decadent! Yes, it’s very sweet so if you want to cut the sugar a bit, I would consider omitting the maple syrup. But if you want a full-on dessert, go for the maple (yum!). Healthy is a relative term, right? But for a splurge dessert, this is definitely one to keep in the pantry for when you want a nearly effortless vegan & gluten-free treat.

Vanilla Cake Protein Banana Bread
This review is for "GoNanas Frosted Vanilla Cake Protein Banana Bread Mix, Vegan, Gluten Free Healthy Snacks. Oat Flour Bread or Muffin Mix. Women Owned, US Ingredients, Dairy Free, Nut Free, Delicious Snacks (1 Pack)"I followed the instructions and used organic maple syrup, greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, and three bananas. I've made banana bread plenty of times and never had a problem but this one just didn't rise like it should. It had a gooey-ish center and if It stayed any longer in the oven it would have burned. It tasted overly vanilla sweet not like a good banana bread. I ended up cutting it into small 1" cubes and calling it banana bites. It was good in those small doses. It's pricey for what it is in my opinion.

Tasty, but very sweet. More like cake, not bread.
I love to bake, but often run out of time to bake from scratch. I saw this mix and thought it sounded great, especially since it was high protein and healthier than traditional mixes. However, once I started reading the baking requirements, I started to question whether I made a good choice. The directions stated one of my biggest issues with recipe writing. Not stating the exact amount by volume or weight of bananas needed for the mix. It stated to use 3 medium bananas, or 2 bananas if they were 'super ripe'. How much actually is that? One cup? One half a cup or three fourths of a cup? It does matter. Bananas are a very wet ingredient and will cause a recipe to become wet and dense if you use too much.Gluten free bread or cakes are often a bit more dense than their gluten counterparts, so adding too many wet ingredients will make them too dense and gummy. Too little and they will be dry. I erred on the side of a bit less and the 'cake' came out fine. But if someone is not used to making banana bread, they may not know how much to use. State the volume in cups or the weight measurement. Please do not make us guess. It was tasty, but very sweet. The bananas and the white chocolate chips added sweetness. This bread tasted more like cake. Very tasty, but definitely not bread, more like a sweet cake. The texture was a bit dense, but that was to be expected for a gluten free product. It was still delicious.

YUM!
This is easy to make, SO good, AND gluten-free which is great for my household. We used two very ripe bananas and dairy milk and the resulting banana bread was so deliciously gooey, and not super crumbly like GF products often are. (I hate to use the word "moist"....but that's what it was! Moist!)This would make a fun addition to a gift basket for any friends or family with relevant food allergies. I would definitely buy this again.

We really like this. It's pretty sweet
We really like this and cupcake form. it is pretty sweet definitely way sweeter than I thought it would be. But that is not a problem for me as I like things sweeter so this was good in my opinion. The kids really enjoyed it too. I thought it was easy to make and a nice little kit. It would definitely make a nice gift for someone as well. In like a gift basket or something.
