Mine definitely fit the iPad Mini 3. What's good is that the back cover provides nice fit without any difficultytaking off. As for the magnetic front cover, the quality is not quite like Apple but it certainly works wellif you keep the hinge from folding up. If that happens, it won't magnetically grasp the side of the iPad.You don't really need the back cover but not only does it offer more protection without getting much thicker,it also re-enforces the front cover in a way.Lets not forget to mention the stylus and the screen protector!My final thought is that it's not prefect but certainly has tremendous value that's worthtrying.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Amendment #1 I've had it now for a few days and I notice the folds on the smart cover leaves an imprint on the display.Not sure if Apple's does the same thing. It's not indented, but it's certainly visible. You can wipe it off some but it's annoying.Not sure if this is normal or not.Amendment #2 I'm really surprised this didn't start happening sooner. It appears that whatever the smart cover is made out of isstarting to leave debris. Again, I'm not sure if Apple's version does the same thing over time because I've never had my hands onthe one that fits the mini. I have played with the one that fits full size iPad. Is it the exact same, only smaller?To be fair, It could very well be what I'm laying the iPad mini on when the cover is folded back. Because that's the same side that will goover the front of the tablet. So it can possibly carry over to the screen. I reported what I thought looked like the same color as my cover asresidue from it. Sure feels like it but I thought I'd include that as a possibility. Any feedback would be appreciated.I have to keep wiping this stuff off and now I'm really getting what I paid for. Minus a star for that but again,it's only $4!Amendment #3As reported previously about the debris, I haven't had it since. So I will conclude that it probably came from linensI had the smart cover laying on that usually covers the screen. I still don't like the indentures but again, Apple'sSmart Cover probably does the same thing. Wish I knew. The very good news is that once the cover is clickedon properly, it pretty much stays on in a reasonable manner. So I'll give back one star that I took away for the merefact that it still is only $4 !

Considering that my wife's current iPad cover was completely worn, this was an improvement and still is despite my criticisms. I didn't notice that the plastic backside that snaps on to the iPad was not of better quality from the images posted to the listing. It's a thin, transparent colored piece of plastic that snaps on and unfortunately, that part was broken, between the top edge of the piece all the way to the hole for the camera. I'm sure it was just crushed in transit but still, if it can be broken in the mail, it probably isn't very hearty to begin with. The front folding side of the cover is better quality. Folds ok, doesn't exactly stay folded very well without having to fold and hold it for a minute before letting go. It came with a stylus that my wife seems to like when she remembers she has it. Overall, it was too much trouble to send back for a replacement given the cost of the item. Would not buy again.

This cover does the job. It's obviously not very high quality but I wasn't expecting a lot for five dollars. I have the larger size of this Bes Data case on a full size iPad and after two years there are a couple small cracks on the back that do not effect anything other than appearance. There may be a quality control issue with some these cases as there are several comments stating that the case they received does not fit the Mini 2. There is always the chance that inexpensive items may not always be up to par. With reasonable care I would expect these cases would last at least a couple of years.

I love the purple case, is well made and fits perfectly and is really cute. The screen protector is good quality, but the cloth seems like a regular dryer sheet cloth. I rubbed all smudges and any hint of dust off my screen with the cloth and meticulously placed the screen protector, very slowly, while scraping the surface with a credit card as i have heard how to do, and i still managed to have a few tiny bubbles. I don't really notice them but they are annoying when watching a show. i guess that's just the nature of the screen protector? Serves a purpose but evil and annoying at the same time. the stylus is nice but with the screen protector on you really have to push on the stylus to scroll on anything and it gets annoying. However, for the price all of these products combined was a great value. I would say that for anyone who is picky about how the screen protector looks on their ipad should get a pack of six or three like i've seen others on Amazon and get that separate if you don't like how the first application went. That way you have several chances to get it right.

It's nice to get one of these covers new. I love the magnetic cover and how it doubles as a stand. Also really enjoy how my iPad automatically clicks on or off when I open or close the cover. The durability isn't great. It starts getting chips after a while, and those chips eventually turn into huge missing chunks. I usually have to replace it in a year or so, but for the price, I don't mind doing so; I usually change colors for a refreshed look.

Great protection for your iPad. Especially the plastic back. I spilled some tea and was literally thanking God I had put it in the case, and although reluctant to obscure that beautiful glass retina screen with the protector, when the light caught what may or may not have been a tiny Nick, I couldn't get that screen protector on fast enough.it is tad cloudy visually, and there are still a few small bubbles I successfully pushed to the edges, but that has to be better than risking damage to the surface. Closing it, it's loose, if there's a magnet in there it's not a good one, but basically it does the job of protecting a very valuable piece of gear.The stand arrangements aren't that secure or steady and don't allow you to stand your iPad up, but instead slopes at a very shallow angle, but my old book rest does the job.I have the pale blue, which is very smart and very attractive. So, though not perfect, is cheap, does look good, and provides the necessary protection unless you accidentally drop it in your foot spa while reading, which is what I did with my last Kindle. One day they'll maybe do waterproof, but not today apparently.Bought this 5th June, and now 26 November. The plastic on the back has fractured in places and snapped off in chunks despite not being dropped or in any way being banged or traumatised. I live alone, this could not have been damaged by a feline, toddling or primary school poltergeist. Shame. Was a nice looking case, but I need something that will protect my ipad not just look nice.

I needed a new iPad cover so ordered this one at the beginning of December 2020. Loved the colour and design and very like my old one apart from the metal hinges. As you can see from the photo a piece has snapped off the plastic part of the case and there is a crack also about 1cm which will only get worse. I only use my iPad at home and have not dropped it at all so unsure how this could happen. The front of the cover is fine, it’s the plastic sides and back that are of poor quality materials. Definitely won’t be ordering a case like this in the future.

I bought this to replace a case I had been using for four years. This one looks similar to my old case but was so less useful. My previous case can support the iPad with difficult degrees, but this one only has one, which is a big disappointment. But I think I just assumed cases look like this are all the same.

Quality is appalling to be honest, it broke within a week I got it and I don’t even know how! Having said that, I’m still using it and it does the job so I can’t really complain!

After using this case for a while, the blue part starts to come apart and I can see the cardboard which is a shame. But it is good for a few months also it has magnetic cover so when you close it the screen turns off. Which is handy because you wouldn't want your battery wasting on your screen saver.
