Friendship Dairy Farmer Cheese, 1 Pound - 12 per case.

I've ordered this a few times and we love it! My daughter is on a lactose-free diet and farmer cheese was recommended for her diet. To me it tastes just like ricotta, and we've used it in a variety of recipes. The lactose in it is less than 0.05%. It freezes well, so it's worthwhile to get 12 pounds at a time. If you divide the shipping charge by 12 to figure the price per pound, the price comes out very reasonable.

I make something we call "macaroni with white cheese". Very simple recipe, just boil a pound of elbow noodles, melt one stick of butter and use half a package of this cheese, mix it all together and viola, it's awesome. Hard to find cheese, not many stores carry it, got sick of searching, so I freeze it and thaw as needed, love it, and it's cheaper this way, much cheaper.

Arrived on my porch still a little cool from the frozen packs inside. Very good product. It is a main ingredient in many recipes included in the Specific Carbohydrate Diet which I must follow due to an intestinal disorder that I have. I will order from this company again when I run out.

Great product and excellent packaging. Very economical. Used alot in SCD recipes.

When defrosted this low fat and low cholesterol cheese can be used in many recipes. Not offered in many stores where I live.
