Solar Shield54Rec12 full frame Gray lens Polarized Clip On Sunglasses

I just got a new set of glasses and was going to purchase a second set of prescription sunglasses at the same time but they were going to cost $180. I remember a few years ago I did the same thing and think I only ended up wearing the sunglasses about 8 to 10 times, I rarely wear them unless I'm going to be in the sun all day. I decided to look on Amazon for a set of these Solar Shield clip on sunglasses and was shocked to find out they were less than $8 as I had seen a set at Bass Pro Shop for $36. I went to Solar Shield's website where you can print out a pdf file that has all the models they make in actual size so you can lay your glasses right on the picture to see which model fits your glasses the closest. The 54 rec12 model is a near perfect fit for my glasses so I went back to Amazon and made the purchase.To use them you simply place the two hooks at the edge of one lens of your glasses then pull to stretch the sunglasses far enough to hook onto the other lens. I was initially concerned about the hooks scratching the lenses on my glasses but, first of all, they are angled slightly away from your glasses so that the tips of the hooks are never in contact with your lenses plus the tips are covered with a soft plastic anyway. They come with a soft plastic snap-shut case, are nice and dark and they're polarized as well, and, oh yeah, they're less than $8...Sweet!

These do not fit my plastic glasses. The outline of the frames fits but the little clasps end up right where the arms attach. So, be very careful with these as there are no returns. Make sure the clasps line up correctly.

Ordered these for my wife. The lenses fit perfectly over the glass lens, but the spacing between the lenses are too far apart at rest. I went to return them for a refund, but was informed they are non refundable. I looked again at the website description for pricing and refund information. I've attached a picture. At first glance, it shows the following message: "Refund or replacement available." However, if you happen to put your mouse on the text, you get a different story; as shown in the attached photo. If I would have seen this, I would have not purchased the item in the first place. So it's ONLY refundable or replaceable if they are damaged.

Lenses scratch very easily. Both lenses are scratched just taking them in and out of the provided plastic case. Will have to replace. Otherwise I liked them.

These fit very well over my existing glasses and really do the job. The only drawback for me is that I often begin driving where I don't need them, and then have to pull over to attavch them to my glasses.

Good value for the price although they ended up being a tad wide for my glasses, so are looser than I might prefer. Don't recall seeing any sizing options, but there may have been. Delivered promptly.

I had an earlier pair of sun glasses with the same code that were more nearly shaped to fit the shape of my glasses which I miss, but they are certainly usable.

piciure makes them look round when in fact they are more shallow than appear on the photo or the noted dimensions. Otherwise were as advertized.
