Clover City: Rise of the Mystic Mage book 2 Paperback – 17 Aug. 2023

Out of alll the books in my library this series is comfortably one of easiest, calmest reads.A well written twist on the fantasy, time travel genre, it slides you into the characters continued adventures in the world. The slow build, character growth and fun world creates a place for the reader to follow along with ease from the first book. Couple this with the gradual improvement seen in the characters mental health from the start, and how the risks are both incredibly high, yet calm at the same time makes this the perfect book for someone who needs a break.Overall I find my self excited for the next edition to this, whenever it may occur.

Following on smoothly from the first book. It pulls you in and keeps the momentum going.It's such a treat, to find such a good story written. In such a good way, that it feels like your actually there. Keeping you invested and absorbed in the written word.Highly recommended and looking forward to seeing much more.

One of my favourite author,s this series is starting to feel as good as her last books looking forward to the next instalment

The issue I had with this book is that the question of why she was sent back 5 years back into the past was never mentioned, almost as if the author is hoping we will forget about it. Sure, we has a measly paragraph at the end where the devs ‘monitor’ her progress but it just feels clunky.

As I said reviewing book one the author has handled the reincarnation plot line really well , the whole plot so far is excellent and lots of interesting characters have been introduced , the only issue I have is Ashes , I understand shes had a trama in her past but she's just not a very nice person , she's arrogant , cocky and always moaning about missed opportunities or quests when she's probably the luckiest player in the game , she can't help insulting other players and I see why see like playing solo as very few people could put up with her antics.
