As a newbie to quilting I wanted to buya book of projects that would test mynew skills.I wanted a book that had easy projectsthat could be finished quicklyso I could get something to showwhat I have learnt but wouldn't take too long.This book meets all these expectationsand so much more!The projects are classic and beautiful.They are fun, useful & pretty.The book is packed full of eleven projectsfor you to make.Each of the projects start with the materialsyou will need.Then you find the directions.The directions are clearly split down intostep-by-step instructions.They are very clear and easy to understand.It's easy to follow each of the stepsto complete your projects.As a newbie I would of liked all of the projects to havesome pictures showing the different stagesof making the projects.The project where the illustrations are suppliedwith the directions are clear and very easyto understand.The back of the book has all the templatesyou required to make your projects.Overall I love this book.The projects are varied and I can honestlysay I want to make all of them.Great value for money.

I was a little disappointed by this one. The intructions I found lacking but I can use the patterns for ideas. If you are a beginner it may take some trial and error to figure it out, I like books that show pictures so you have an idea of how to put the pieces together.

This book arrived very quickly, despite the Christmas postal rush. It's full of amazing quick & easy quilting/patchwork projects that I'm sure I'll enjoy making & teaching to my beginner students. I'd highly recommend this book to new patchworkers.

The book is a paper back, with simple ideas and easy instructions to follow. I haven't as yet made anything from it.

I have a collection of patchwork quilting book for ideas to make items for sales of work for fund raising. I belong to a Craft group and is helpful to use the books for ideas to show members what can be make with small pieces of fabric.
