Long lasting ink
I bought the XL ink tank value pack. This is my first time purchasing ink for my new printer. I have done a lot of printing since installing tanks. It is doing well in print quality. I also purchased the XXL black ink tank since that is what I use the most. It seemed like an expensive total purchase; but when compared to the ink I bought for my old printer, the price is comparible.

Very Expensive - If You Print Photos, You Need Canon OEM for Best Quality
I always buy thrid-party toner cartridges for my color laser printer, but really prefer the clean, bright output of these Canon OEM cartridges for my glossy printed photos. I'm a hobbyist, not a pro, but take pride in my Photoshop skills and prints I make for family and friends. These absolutely do not fade like third-party inks. Of course they're expensive because Canon, like other manufacturers, deeply discount the hardware and hope for the toner business. I rated Value for Money a 5 because I'm getting what I pay for, not because it's a good price. I do buy the X-XX-XXL cartridges when available to keep the per ounce costs as low as possible. I'll expect this purchase to keep me going for a couple of years.

Good quality printer ink
I like the fact that I only need to replace whatever color ink runs out, instead of wasting the colors that don't get used, or having things I printed be off color till the other colors ran out.With my last printer, I also tried off brand ink to save money. Bad idea. They would leak and be a waste.From now on, I will only buy a printer that has individual color ink cartridges, and will only buy the correct brand. These are great!

And I thought gas was expensive..
I never let the printer software dictate when to replace the ink cartridges…We usually get quite a few pages printed after the alert comes on…then I only replace the ones that show empty on print.

Using the right ink.
I have been using Canon ink cartridges in my canon printer since I ruined my printers using cheap ink. With that said, I am really anoyned that the price is so high. I buy the XX ink because it lasts longer, but before i buy my next printer, I will check out their prices for ink.

Works great but Ink is Toooooo Expensive!!!
This product works great, and is a necessary evil. Ink is way to expensive! But with XL's these last a little longer.
