have used bear creek soups for a number of years. most grocery stores have a limited selection of bear creek soups. found that amazon had a greater number of choices. trying out those that I haven't tried before. the soups were excellent and flavorful. will be having another selection for today's lunch.fred

We - as a family - really like Bear Creek's soup mixes. The  Bear Creek Country Kitchen Creamy Potato Soup Mix (Pack of 3) , for example, is a huge favorite in our household. Their  Bear Creek TORTILLA Soup Mix 8.8oz (3 Pack)  is also quite good. We regularly purchase both from our local grocery store.So we were excited to try the Stroganoff.Stroganoff is hard to get right. It requires a bit of tangy zip from sour cream, some richness from the thickened beef broth, and, of course, some pasta capable of holding its own.This was our first miss from the Bear Creek brand. It desperately needed salt, there was no zip from sour cream, the pasta turned out rubbery, and the flavor was just ... off. We're going to stick to making our own stroganoff from scratch in the future.
