UmbraUmbra 023464-918 Flex Drain Stop/Hair Catcher Grey, Gray

I don't normally leave reviews, but this doohicky was great so it deserves it. We had big problems with hair in the drain (household of long haired people), and de-clogging fluid caused the pipes to corrode so that was no longer an option. This little thing catches so much hair, it's crazy! I had no idea there was so much, no wonder the pipe clogged constantly. The drain has been free flowing ever since we installed it - when the doohicky is in place the tub drains a bit slower but don't worry, it's just doing its job.Some reviews state that it's hard to clean, while this is kind of true, if it was super easy to clean then it probably wouldn't be good at catching hair! You want it to be harder to get the hair off, that means it's working, right? Either way, really pleased, very good purchase.

I bought this for my bath as we have now put a shower in and I wanted to catch my hair as it is very long.This is great for the bath as well.It doesn't stick but it doesn't need to the weight of the water keeps it in place I have no problem with it leaking.It catches plenty of hair.There is a bit of water in the bath once finished as the plug is slightly raised from the surface. this too is not an issue as I am not going to leave the plug there without cleaning the bath out after use and I can see that there is no hair in that small amount.Works great for the shower too stays in place and catches plenty of hair.

I'd bought several of these before from a different manufacturer, but they didn't last. This one is lasting ages. It covers my corroded plug area; has good suction and easy to clean

I was not sure if this is meant to have suction power until I saw the review to give stars on suction power. I don’t think the one I’ve got have any suction power. I use it in the bath as our bath tub’s drain stopper just got broken. It’s usable but isn’t that great.

Great exactly what I was looking for.

This product is such a good idea, looks good, neat and hides the hair it’s caught (unlike other hair catchers that leave it in a dirty pile in sight) but from a practical point it’s rubbish. The water doesn’t drain away like it would with other hair catchers plus when it comes to getting the hair out that it’s caught you need scissors, tweezers and lots of time!!!! I’ve already gone back to my cheaper hair catcher as I can clean it in 10 seconds rather than 10mins!

I like this product. It has saved the drain from a lot of my hair. It's stylish, easy to use and although some ahirs get tangled in and I can’t clean it perfectly, it still works fine. I recommend this!Also its a sturdy product and hasn't broken down on me after a couple of uses, like some other products I've tried before.

Good suction, keeps water in tub. Keeps hair out of drain. Easy clean up if you do right after shower or bath. Fit perfectly. Great value!

Works perfectly, the ones I had were due to be changed. You can only clean them out for so long until you start to see the wear. This was ordered as a replacement and it works as intended. Sometimes I do find some water can build up at the bottom of the tub, I will move it over if I see there are no hairs to catch anyway. Definitely more useful for the children who do not care if the drain gets clogged (maybe the children will care more if I make them unclog the drain). In the meanwhile, this contraption keeps the peace and keeps the water flowing. :) Will buy again!
