I was looking for a tail bag that serve me in a specific way. I umpire baseball games, and needed a bag to stow and carry my umpire helmet/facemask. Before getting this bag, I used a backpack and bungee net to secure it to my bike. It worked but was a pain because I needed a bag that would retain its shape and that I could access without having to unsecure it from the bike. After much research, this bag fits my needs perfectly. I very much like how this bag is made. The materials and workmanship are very good. The poly insert maintains the bag's shape, making it very easy to insert items for storage. For me, it is the perfect size to carry the umpire helmet/facemask, with some additional room to carry some smaller items. The bungee cords were the perfect length for my setup, and when mounted, the bag is secured and not going anywhere. It is very easy to secure, and it looks good on the bike. The bag comes with additional straps that allow the bag to be used as a backpack. The straps clip on and off easily. This is a very nice bag, and I am very happy with it.

I had this overnight shipped as I was going out on a long trip this weekend and needed some sort of storage, didn't want a backpack on me the entire time.Used it on my Suzuki Boulevard C50 and this thing looks small on the outside, but once you start putting stuff in it, if you fold/roll things right, it fits a stupid amount of stuff in it.Shoes, shorts, pants, 3 shirts, 4 pairs of socks, 4 pairs of boxers, deorderant, my hat, sunglasses, a 16oz candle I bought from a store on the way and my hat to top it off.Top elastic holder holdes a water bottle perfectly. The elastic ropes that hold it down are really think and strong so I see them lasting a while. The hard plastic hooks are very heavy duty and don't see them breaking.I have only 2 cons, and they're really not THAT big of a deal.1) The hooks, while being heavy duty, I would have liked to see a rubber coating or something on the inside hook for those of us who have to hook it to our rear fender.2) For the price of what they cost, which is almost nothing, I would have liked to see YKK or beefier zippers. Just the way these ones looked kinda seems like they'll be the first thing to break/go, especially where the nylon pull tabs are attached. We'll see how they hold up.

This fits my Rebel 500 perfectly. I wanted something that could be removed easily and looks nice. I was surprised by the amount of storage space and I think this would work for an overnight trip. I love it.

I needed something to hold smaller items when riding.PROS:This holds a lot more than expected. Easy to mount.I’ve carried a tire repair kit, first aid kit, two bottles of Gatorade, and four frozen bottles of water, with a little space to spare. It holds more than expected.ZIppers have held up well after two months of daily uses, as has the rest of the bag.CONS:After only two months, the bag has completed faded from a nice black, to a dull gray. The entire top section is gray. Yes, the bag stays on my bike. Yes, I am in the Southwest where there is almost constant sun. Yea, I did expect some fading, but this is complete color change. Now I have to wonder how much longer get the material will last before it too is compromised.

Fits well on my CBR300R; I added a longer (inner) bungee to hook to my rear pegs. The shoulder straps that are included make it a pain as a 'backpack' because they don't connect to the bag so it slides from side to side and throwing it over one shoulder doesn't work very well either. the handle can be used to carry but its not great doing it that way when you've got some weight in the bag.

This tail trunk is very well made, retains its shape and holds a lot of stuff. If you're really concerned about theft of the luggage itself, or its contents for that matter, you're barking up the wrong tree because this product provides "reasonable" deterrence in "reasonable" situations against such chicanery. But, we all know about the determined thief's ability to defeat "reasonable" levels of security. That being said, I rate this Chase Harper Aeropac 4000 Tail Trunk very highly. I do consider myself to be a "reasonable" person with over 35 years of motorcycling experience and I really like this product. It's convenient access and integrated mounting features are well thought out and fit my BMW RT passenger seat. I never thought much about carrying it like a backpack, but considering how many pieces I carry into my overnight stops these days, I'll give it a try. Nice to have the option anyway. No regrets about buying this one.

Very disappointed with the product it’s deceiving in size very let down by its size was expecting a lot more room it didn’t help me on my trip wishes I never ordered it big let down

Bought this for my Rebel 500. Attached it to the tail rack using the bungee cords. Looks great, easy to take on/off, roomy, and I like the stiff plastic insert that allows the bag to retain its shape even when empty. Fits skull cap helmet no problem. Zippers close together so small lock can be used. Managed to snag this while it was on sale for around $100, very lucky. Highly recommended tail bag, easy 5 ⭐️

This good looking, apparently high quality bag fits beautifully on passenger seat of my 2021 Vulcan 900 Classic. It has a plastic inner mold/lining that maintains the shape nicely. Its size is perfect for spare glasses,hat, gloves, straps, locks etc…anything I like to keep handy and grab quickly at a rest break.Also the design having the bungee cords attach under the main compartment (but above the anti-skid layer on seat) means the cords do NOT distort the bag like another bag I tried just recently (and threw away)I am very pleased and happy to have this.

I used the bag as a snowmobile tunnel bag. The bag itself is awesome but the bungee cord and the hooks on it came undone regularly because the hooks stretched out. On my next trip I’m gonna try to use the heavier duty rubber bungee straps
