Because of the price I was really worried they would be awful but they are actually really nice. Does the job quickly and without snagging. Haven't tried curling yet but perfect for straight. Spray is nice too. And the mat is always a bonus. Very pleased!

Heats up a little slow but once it's hot it's perfect, really good value for money.

I got this as a replacement for the first and only other straighteners I've ever had, which were Remington brand. They survived 15 years and 5 house moves, until they finally gave up the ghost recently.After much deliberation I decided on this Tresemme brand straightening iron. I have had good results with Tresemme hair care products so thought the straighteners were a safe bet. Here are my thoughts on these:- These straighteners are fairly basic looking, with nice rounded edges and a lightweight and slim design.- They are easy to hold without burning the hand and they come with a heat proof mat to rest them on when hot and for storage- The cable is nice and long, with an angled end where it connects to the iron so you don't have to bend and damage it whilst in use- The heat defence spray is a nice bonus, which adds a lot of shine and has a powerful yet fine mister- The three heat settings are easy to adjust but there is no LCD screen to show temperature- They heat up fast, seem to get to the expected temperature, but take quite long time to cool down again.- There is, strangely, no locking function on the iron to lock them shut for safety when hot. My previous straighteners had a safety lock and it is annoying not to have one here.- The plates just about clamp together when pressed lightly and do not snag the hair at the edges- However, for some reason, I kept finding my hair strands naturally gravitated toward the back end of the plates which meant that some hairs were missed and I had to keep adjusting the strands.- The actual plates of these are quite narrow compared to some other straighter a which means for thick or long hair, it takes longer to straightenOverall I got a good straightening effect with my very wavy, dry and frizzy hair, although it did take longer than with my precious straighteners. I would still say that these cannot compare to my old Remingtons, but they are a good second place.I hope this is helpful.

I had these straightners over 10 years ago as my original set and wasnt aware you had to replace them (lol)I got these and instantly noticed the difference. The keratin spray it comes with is stunning ive just bought the matching hair dryer. Ive been struggling with my hair for absolutely ages being so frizzy and untameable to the point ive never been wearing it down. I straightened it two days ago with the spray it looks unbelievable.Dont hesitate to get his product and check out the matching hairdryer set.

Present for my teenage daughter who has very long hair uses it both to straighten and curl her hair. This product does not snag her hair when using it. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

It works really well, the quality is brilliant, my hair feels naturally straight and light and the wire is long so you can connect it to a port if your mirror is away from a port.Super happy with the buy!
