21 Side Hustles You Can Start Now Paperback – August 30, 2015

This is my second Henley Griffin book, I find her writing style conversational and enjoyable to read. This book is a quick overview of side hustle options. It starts off with some reasons why we may want to spend our time on a side hustle. Things like making extra cash, learning new skills, and doing something enjoyable are great reasons.There is a little bit about payment options, PayPal and the like, and a small mention of taxes. Then on to the good stuff. She lists 21 side hustle options and a little information to get started. The section on each side hustle isn't in depth, but it is enough to begin the journey. There are also a few bonus ideas at the end.Personally, I have spent quite a bit of time on #11, a little on #13, some on #15, a bit on #20, and would probably enjoy #19 and #21. If you are stumped for ways to make extra cash, you will probably find at least one doable option in this book.

Quick and easy book to read. Not spectacular or absolutely incredible. If you have spent any time perusing the Internet for ways to make money, then you have seen most of what is in this book. However, it describes these side hustles with clarity in a concise and straight-forward manner. It's well the nominal price you pay just to stimulate your mind and energize your passion for making passive or side income!

Easy read... I finished it in one sitting. I got some really good, creative ideas, but I wish the author went into more detail into each idea. However, as she said in the beginning of the book, in the very least it will get the reader thinking about new side hustles that aren't mentioned in this book (and it did).

As formal employment opportunities shrink and with a growing pool of college graduates lacking "experience" to compete for what's left, the side-hustle becomes more interesting. Not just for the nine-to-fivers, this book provides even more than 21 ideas because it directs the creative mind to explore other angles and opportunities for earning income outside the office.

This book has a few little gems that you can use to pick up a little money on the side. I am going to use a couple of his ideas.

I've read quite a few side hustle type books over time and this author's version is by far one of my favorites. Her writing presents a very easy to understand and friendly tone. All of the ideas she's shared are very doable for a large audience, yet allowing for specialization where talents and skill sets can apply. I like how she also shares about her individual experiences with some of the ideas. Inspired me to finally give the freelance writing hustle I've been considering a genuine effort. This book is about earning supplemental income to run alongside a day job. However, the more that I got through, I realised that the title is slightly modest in that you could easily earn a full time living from this type of information if you were willing to put the work in.I found this to be a great guide and believe that it will appeal to many people especially those that are out of work. Why not start one of the “side hustles” mentioned in this book while looking for a job? You may be able to stop looking and actually earn a decent wage.Overall, I found this to be informative and left me feeling that I could put to action what I had learned.
