I have an old top-loading washing machine with a center agitator and I can't tell you the number of times the clothes have got all mangled and twisted together. These bags allow me to separate items that are more delicate. Those sweaters with a bit of bling on them? Just turn them inside out and toss them into a laundry bag. They won't get snagged and nor will they snag anything else.I use the smaller bags to put my socks into. No more looking for mismatched pairs and no missing socks.The material on the Mamlyn Mesh Laundry Bags looks and feels fairly solid, so much so that I had to check the wash mid-way through to be sure the clothes inside the bags were actually getting soaked. They were and everything washed up just fine.I put the bags with their contents directly into the tumble dryer on regular heat. No problems and the bags came out as good as new, ready to use again. The contents were no worse for wear. Also, the items contained inside the bags did not pick up any lint from the towels I washed them with. Win-win!

Super easy to use and has held up with multiple laundry cycles so would consider to be easy to clean and sturdy. Protects my daughters delicate clothes and is versatile. I use for her embroidered sweaters, socks and bows!
