Good Value I got this item a week ago
Good ValueI got this item a week ago, and have used it for a week. So far I liked it and consider it a good choice.Firstly it looks solid and well built. It doesn’t look like a cheap stuff, which is what I was afraid of when considering buying it or not.I have used it with external keyboard, Flash drive, external SSD drive, and a logitech wireless mouse receiver. It all worked well. As for the speed, I tested with my external SSD drive on my MacBook Pro 2013 using Disk Speed Test. Both reading and writing speed were slightly higher than 400 Mb/S, pretty close to the speed when I connect the SSD drive directly to my MacBook Pro. After a few mins “high speed data transferring”, the USB hub got obviously warmer, but not hot. Since it’s enclosed by Aluminum case, I think it’s normal.I haven’t used it with the “free” USB-C to USB-A adapter, because my laptop doesn’t have a USB-C port. But maybe in the future. The USB-C to USB-A adapter alone may cost 7-10 bucks, so I think this USB hub with a free adapter is a good value.

It works as expected
I bought a small portable Windows 10 laptop that did not have a Ethernet port but had a USB C port. I bought this device to get an Ethernet port and have additional USB ports. I had no issue using this device to update Windows 10 when I initiated using the laptop. As anyone who has gone through an initial Windows 10 update, it takes a very long time. This device had no problems going through the hours of updating without any interruptions. I have also used with a portable thumb drive with no issues after the initial update.

Solid, well made and recognized without any issues
Recognized without an issue on my MS Surface running Windows 10. I also connected to my Dell Precision 7510 finding and installing the USB 2.0, 3.0 and the Ethernet 10/100/1000 drivers. This adapter is very well made and solid. The USB connections are exactly centered and seem to be of excellent quality. The Ethernet connection worked perfectly.

It works as expected
On a Windows 10 laptop, the NIC (Ethernet port) worked without installing a driver. It connected to my network at 1 Gigabit. The USB ports are working (keyboard, mouse, and USB thumb\flash drive). Its made of aluminum, and feels solid. As a plus it was well packaged. As indicated in my headline it worked as expected. Do I need to say more?

Worked great for a couple months. Then it just stopped.
Worked great for a couple months. It looks nice, feels like high quality. But now it has just stopped working a couple weeks ago. Tried it on several ports on my laptop and no good. The light lights up and sometimes my mouse/controllers will connect but typically it doesn't even register on the PC. I have a couple other USB C hubs and they work just fine.Like I said it worked great for the first couple months, with daily use. And then it just went kaploot.Maybe mine was just a fluke or something but I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

Obuolys rocks!
Obuolys is great. I ordered two of their products and literally got them ASAP (and it is Christmas season!!!!) They must have mailed this stuff the minute I ordered it. The products came as ordered, they work wonderfully and were affordable. Their packaging is quite elegant too. Their products would make expensive looking gifts arriving in these packages.

USB hub with Ethernet
The item arrived on time as scheduled. It was quite nicely packaged. The outside of the USB hub is made of mental so it doesn’t look cheap at all. It works like a charm when connecting the external drive to my MacBook Pro. The USB-A to USB-C adapter is definitely a plus. I use a 2013 MacBook Pro while my wife’s is the 2016 model. With the adapter, the hub works on her MacBook too. So one hub for both models and saves me some bucks!

Does what the tin says and it does not only with Mac. Without any fuss it cooperates with my Windows based laptop, Chromebook and even Samsung Galaxy Note 8 happily works over the Ethernet connection.

Als Adapter vom Macbook zum USB habe ich mit dieses Gadget gekauft und bis jetzt mehrere Wochen benutzt und bin überzeugt. Es gibt keine Probleme/Störungen und es funktioniert einwandfrei.

Hab lange gesucht, und bin total zufrieden mit Obuolys. Schön verpackt, sehr kompakt verarbeitet und voll funktionsfähig! Ist ein bisschen teuer als die von anderen Konkurrenten aber es lohnt sich.

LANポート付きUSBハブは数多く売られていますが，その中でもこの製品は細身の形状であり，その点が気に入り購入しました．薄型でコネクタが少ない(LANがついていない)ノートPCなどでほしくなる製品で，そのようなPCで使用してもやぼったさは感じません．また，type-Cからtype-A(またはその逆)への変換アダプタが付属しています．なので，まだ持て余しているtype-Cで使用してもいいし，type-Cがなくてもいつものtype-Aで使用できます．ふた月ほど使用していますが，LANポート，USBハブともに問題なく動作しています．
