Belleville Rendezvous [DVD]

I sawand decided to revisitI watched this year's ago and decided to re-visit the film recently. It has lost nothing of its enjoyment over the intervening years and I'm glad to own it in my collection and have it on hand for repeated viewing. It's a stark, but witty, look at competitive cycling and a grandmother's love for her only grandson. Would you think that the two things go together? No? Well, you'd be wrong! Watch and learn - oh, and enjoy.

I seriously enjoyed this film and recommend it to anyone - the animation is fantastically unique and the story is light-hearted fun

Brilliant DVD I would recommend it to any one - all ages will find something different about it and you can watch it more than once.

One of the most wonderful film experiences of all time, and don't worry about subtitles - there are none.

Delightfully charming and beautifully illustrated story … told with pathos, humour and a dark sense of the absurd.

Great fun! we really enjoyed it. Its a bit bizarre but very atmospheric.
