Very Impressed
I have been working with swords for a long time now, but I have honestly always stayed away from swords in the rapier, small sword, and fencing styles. I have seen a lot of these swords that have loose fittings and blades that are so wiggly they would probably break in a single swing. This sword completely changed my mind about the small sword being a "weak" weapon. This sword has very solid construction and wonderful balance. I really like the small shell-like hand guard, finger ring, and knuckle bow. The blade is stiff enough to parry well, yet flexes to promote safety. When it does flex it immediately returns to true as soon as the pressure is released. The blade passes all the way through the handle and is threaded into the pommel. I occasionally find that I have to give the pommel a quick twist to tighten everything back up every 10 minutes or so of a lot of swinging. I like to be able to pull things apart to clean them, so I am happy about that. If you don't want to deal with that a little thread locker would probably stop that from happening. The blade also seems quite durable. I had a couple of over swings that caught on some tree branches and no damage to the blade at all, which honestly amazed me. I am looking forward to seeing how this sword stands up to the rigorous amount of use I have planned for it. For anyone looking for a durable small sword for practice this is definitely a good purchase. The sword is about 41 inches over all about 35" blade and 6" handle. Also the tip of the blade is wrapped around on the end to make a little loop for safer thrusting.

good but it rusts easy
i really liked it and it worked well for the theatrical production i was in but i have only had it for 2 months and it has started to rust pretty bad. it makes me wonder if it was made poorly because i keep it in a pretty dry area.
