Unfortunately, this item was just as I thought: it clasps my hair way too tightly and just doesn’t fit the way I had wanted. When I came to this realization after I ordered it, I tried to cancel but the item had already been shipped. So I reluctantly decided to keep it hoping to think of some creative way to use my purchase in my hair. Until then, it lies at the bottom of my hair accessories basket joining others in the land of disappointing hair clips. 😞UPDATE: I've come up with a few creative uses for this clip that have made for some nice hairstyles! I still have to adjust for the fact that when I clasp it, it pulls my hair too tightly. But I've come up with other ways to compensate for that. So this little clip has been relocated to a more visible spot in my hair accessories basket. Yeaaay!

These remind me of the ones I used to use as a little girl but even better because they don't feel like they'll just snap or break. This is my 3rd one as my daughter stole one and I can't find the other. I'll be getting more bc they are that good. We have high density 3c pass shoulder length hair and they work so well. Depending on how you put them in, they may cause some discomfort but you just have to be sure to catch all your hair together and hold firmly as you put it in. As long as you don't feel any tension during placement, you won't feel tension once in. I even use mine overnight, if I want a more stretched look, but you have to follow with a nice puffy loose scrunchie directly above it to prevent creasing. My only wish is that they would make another size maybe 1 inch bigger for a loose high puff, but these are perfect as they are.

I've been wearing this style of clip forever. Goody stopped making them in the 90's - everyone has switched to banana clips. Boo on banana clips. This sucker grabs my sloppy bun and makes it look perfect. I have very fine hair and it still works. I'm so happy I found a place that supplies these. I was using one that was so old and beat up. Weeeee! This is about as happy as I can feel about a piece of plastic.

I like the semi-flexible nature of this clip. I'd like it better if it were able to accommodate ALL of my super-thick, straight hair. It would be so helpful if they'd make one size bigger for those of use with seriously heavy mops. But it's durable and feels like it will last.

I lost my hair clip made in USA that I had or many years which was made of thick plastic a good quality clip. I got this one and it is totally cheap and thin.

This does not work in my hair. It's hard to clip and doesn't gather my hair well. For the price, I would have expected it to at least work.

PERHAPS THE COMB WILL LOOSEN UP WITH TIME.

Bought this to replace a very old banana clip that broke. This one works well for my thick hair. Well made and nice color.

Cheaply made! The plastic is very very thin. This will break the first time I attempt to use it for sure. The plastic around the clasp is very sharp and would be pokey to use. I have requested a refund but have not yet heard back.
