My puppies had the cover distorted the first night . By the second day, they had chewed through the “chew proof” electric cord cover. They are dachshunds with tiny teeth so I can imagine for a bigger dog would distort it . It’s still working for now , have had it less than 1 week. The highest level 6 heat only provides low- medium heat. Definitely doesn’t get hot but I assume that’s best so pups won’t get burned . Would probably be great for an adult dog with good manners but 10/10 do not recommend for babies who chew everything !

These will help keep my small colony of feral cats warm through the winter.

I'm so happy I tried this heating pad. It's so helpful that you can change the heat levels. It can get freezing here, so being able to hike it up to level six is nice and cozy. Good to have timer options, but I usually just leave it on and turn it up or down during the day/night. The cat that chose to live in our yard is super happy on this heated pad in his shelter. I'm thinking of buying another one for the second cat who believes this yard is his home. He hates going back home to a bullying dog, so I may have to buy a second one. :)
