This is a adapter that connects the hose to the vac
See picture for a idea of what this part is for. It does not directly fit on the sander. It’s to accompany the hose as shown in the instructions to adapt it to fit a vacuum/extractor. Typically it did not fit my shop vac. Large end outer diameter is 64mm, inner diameter is 58mm. Small end inner diameter reduces in three steps from 43mm to approx 36mm then to approx 30mm. Bosch aren’t exactly clear on the diameters of this adapter.

For a router fence...
It needed attaching with duct tape - which has worked very well - but I can now attach my Festool tool-end hose to the fence of the remarkably good value "bench top router table with built in 1500w (2hp) router" as badged, imported and sold by Toolsave, Fox and others on here.This transforms the router from a messy nasty sawdust-chucking tool to a clean and safe device.As usual with Bosch dust extraction fittings, the purchase was a complete gamble. Bosch seemed determined to never release useful information about dimensions of their ducting - when they DO give sizes they never seem to correspond with any of the actual measurements - so after ten hours trying to find out I caved in and bought it. Three stars for all the time wasting and uncertainty.

Needed this to attach to my Hoover to save the machine clogging up and then burning out the motor inside

Bosch 2607000748 Adapter for Bosch Extractors: DO NOT BUY IT. It is not as specified.
I bought this because the Bosch Website, and the manual for my Bosch PSS 250AE sander, said that it would connect the sander to a vacuum cleaner. It no-where near fits the sander, so Bosch need to update their records. I could forgive them if it didn't fit my vacuum hose, because there are many different sizes to cater for, but not to fit the appliance it is specified for is unforgivable.I must say that Amazon were fine, and gave me a no-quibble refund.

Not any good to use with a (UK) domestic vac
I bought this, together with the clip-on adapter to connect to Bosch machines. The smaller end fits this OK but the larger end seems to be sized for a commercial extractor, NOT a domestic vac.

No era la medida
Como a otro usuario y debido a la poca informacíón de este tipo de accesorio y de los accesorios de aspiración de Bosch en general ,no era la medida que deseaba pero lo reservaré por si me sirviera en otra ocasión. Lástima
