Awesome begginer board
I bought this voard for myself. Im 5'4 about 150 lbs, and this board held me up really nicely. It is super light and easy to paddle out with and was very easy to catch waves with! Im a begginer and was able to ride a couple of waves standing. The only thing though is that it was very sleepery at first. Ppl say u dont need to use wax with foam boards but I found that putting was made a HUGE difference and after that I was able to stand multiple times without a problem!! Its a very good begginer board for the price!! And the customer service was EXCELLENT! the first board arrived damaged, after letting them know, that same day they overnighted me a brand new board and I got it the next morning! Truly nice and understanding! Will recommend for sure.

Not a bad board, but there are some poor design choices
Good board - very light and fast. However, a couple of things are not thought through. Most prominently, the black logo on the bottom surface heats up in the sun when carried on top of a car, and bubbles off (see picture). So far, when the board cools down, it returns back to normal, but I am worried it will peel off permanently. For those of y'all beginners trying to decide between this and wavestorm, here's a summary of differences (from my noob 's perspective, having handled both my guppy and friends' wavestorm).1. Weight. Guppy is quite a bit lighter, so it goes faster, and is also easier to carry (and believe me, as a beginner, you'll be carrying the board around plenty)2. Surface. Guppy requires waxing and is really slippery without it; wavestorm does not. Dirt and sand tends to get stuck to wax, and looks ugly on white stripes. In contrast, the wavestorm pattern looks pretty clean even after reasonable amount of use.3. Design choices. Guppy has a handle hole, which, together with small weight, makes carrying almost a breeze. But the handle balances the board without fins, and with them, the handle is just a little too far forward for comfortable carrying. In contrast, wavestorm has a tail pad for yet better rear foot friction, which is also handy for learning where you rear foot is supposed to go when you stand up.

Great and affordable surfboard for beginners!
I bought this longboard to begin my journey with surfing. I am 6’3, 180 lbs. The board is a lot of fun, stable and well made. Let me surf whitewaters and progress quickly. This surfboard is very light and durable. It resisted many wipeouts. Definitely recommend this product.

Beautiful quality board!
Great surfboard for my teen! Better quality and solid construction compared to the big box store foam boards we borrowed from friends. This board has a soft top made of foam and a hard, slick underside, with 3 fins and a leash. I think the other reviewer must not have known this is a soft top Foam board, not one of the hard boards for advanced surfers. It’s not cheaply made at all. It has much higher quality construction than the cheaper foam boards you buy at big box stores. Great purchase!

Started falling apart immediately
The quality of this board is terrible. It surfs well, but started bubbling up on the topside deck after the second use. We took it out again today as I had both my kids with me, but the quality of the build is terrible. Only surfed this 4-5 times in small surf here in Savannah GA.

Perfect beginner board, but advanced riders love it too!
Bought this for my wife, and she loves it! I’ve surfed it too...super easy, very floaty at 80L. Softies are the way to go...especially for beginners. Great product.

Gorgeous surfboard for use as home decor!
I gave it an extra star for how pretty it is :) I got this as a gift for my daughter, who was beginning to surf more and wanted a beginner board of her own instead of renting. It is a beautiful board and she had it in her room for a year as decor before we made it to the beach to use. However, after finally getting it out in the ocean for a week, the entire coloring and laminated portion peeled entirely off. It's now a solid white board with light blue streaks on it, not really suitable for actual surfing. For the first day it worked excellent and she was able to stand and surf but with each ride in the peeling got worse and worse and became a hazard for her to stand on as it peeled off. We reached out to the makers hoping it was just a bum board or fluke and they said this was normal wear and tear. ? They offered us a 20% discount on a new board, but we think it's a little pricey for room decor, if it can't really be used as a surfboard. If you're looking for something to float around on or for instagram photos, this is a beauty. But if you're actually intending on surfing with it for any length of time, I wouldn't recommend.
