The perfect mouse trap. Best bar none!
Nothing bad to say about these. They really have invented the perfect humane mouse trap with attention to every detail! We left our problem a bit too long (did not want to turf mice out in the winter when they almost certainly die when released). We bought a few of these, put shelled peanuts in as food bate (no mess, unlike peanut butter). In no time at all we rounded the mice up and safely deposited them in an old building at the bottom of the garden. You do really need to make sure that all holes in the house are filled as they will find their way back to the food source! When you see them at close quarters you simply cannot understand why anyone would want to inflict pain or injury on such cute and helpless creatures (or any animal). For the sake of a few quid please use these. They are fantastic, totally humane and highly recommended. Oh, and yes, it works great even with the tiniest mice so long as you check that the sprung ramp is not blocked with food debris from the previous catch. But remember to check very frequently as it would be just as cruel to let them starve to death in the trap. We could clearly hear ours "clunk" shut so we released them in their new home almost immediately. Don't be tempted to clean the trap too often as the scent of the mouse wee trail leads others to follow in, and you don't end up contacting it due to the very clever design. Whoever designed this clearly loved mice!

Mice love rice crispies and the trap works great
I don’t have a pest problem but know there are things In my garden so brought this just to try and learn about them. The trap is very effective, easy to use and a good size. I have used it for 4 nights now and have caught a mouse every night and even 2 in one trap last night! Mice love rice crispies. After having a look at them I just open the door and they shoot off, but they aren’t harmed and they’ve had a meal so 5star to this trap

Star rating for shopping experience
Service was quick and the item was as expected so overall I am pleased with the shopping experience. The traps seem good quality and were easy to set up. We have not yet caught a mouse in the traps and it has been a week. The bait has not been taken. I believe this might be more to do with the bait that is being used as I have a stubborn housemate who is insisting on putting cheese in. Don't do it, it's not good for mice and they don't really like it. I intend on changing the bait this week and will try to report back on the findings. I've heard peanut butter is a good one.

Works perfectly! So happy I bought this.
It took 8 minutes from setting the trap to catching the mouse. That really must be a record! For the record I baited it with nuts, seeds and a ball of bread made by soaking pieces of bread in water for a few minutes then squeezing it into a moist round ball - about the size of a large walnut.Trap is fairly easy to set - a little bit fiddly to get the end off to insert bait, strong finger grip needed. Apart from that, perfect. Trapdoor is extremely easy to set open and only activates when the mouse is safely fully inside and out of harm's way.Easy to release the mouse outdoors as well. Easy to wash clean. All around perfect. 10 out of 10!

Absolutely useless: mice ate food and walked straight out!
I recently discovered we were getting mice in one room of the house, and immediately got online to find a humane mouse trap. The reviews for this were great so I duly purchased the two-pack. I followed the advice of one reviewer and used peanut butter on a small square of paper to avoid mess. The next day, the trap was empty, so I thought we simply hadn't had any little visitors. On closer inspection i realised that the papers had been licked clean, and there was poo inside the traps - but the doors were still open and the mice had escaped with dinner. They'd spent long enough inside the traps to polish off *all* of the peanut butter, and leave plenty of droppings, but nonetheless hadn't managed to trigger the door mechanism.I generously wondered whether the paper had brought the food too far forward to allow the full weight of the mouse on the trigger part of the floor, so I cleaned them out and tried again with a bit of bread in one and some crunchy nut cornflakes in the other. I tested the mechanism by sticking a ruler into the hole and touching the trigger; the door closed. The following morning, half the bread and all of the cereal was gone from both traps, and there was poo all around them - but still, no trapped mice.I want to believe that humane traps can work but evidently these are not the ones which do. I imagine the other reviews must be fake because I simply can't understand how they were successful. The door mechanism isn't nearly delicate enough. I used to own gerbils so I know how little these tiny rodents weigh, and I think it's simply designed for heavier mice than whatever slimline vermin I have in my house. Although at this rate they'll be putting on weight like the clappers. Maybe that's how these work?!

They Really Work!
I read the reviews. Some were critical of hard plastic, or the spring wasn't sensitive enough for small mice. Sometimes, no matter how many great reviews you read, you are put off by the odd few negative ones. So, I opened the two traps last night and positioned them. Later in the evening, one had snared a small mouse. I walked down the road and let it go into a field. I came back and washed to trap, re-baited it, as well as the other trap. I positioned the two traps and went to bed. When I got up this morning, two more mice snared, one in each trap. What can I say other than I'm delighted and that they *REALLY* work! Well worth the money, very effective and highly recommended, particularly after trying to use the "Big Cheese" humane mouse traps that were absolutely useless.
