Shipping was fast, and product arrived in excellent condition. I've never worked with disc brakes before, and the package DOES NOT come with instructions, but installation was fairly straightforward. Calipers can easily be adjusted to avoid rubbing. I was expecting a little more stopping power from disc brakes, but they're actually the same or weaker than typical V-brake or cantilever style brakes. They do look flashy though!

I waited to write my review until the pads were fully bedded in (broken in to reach full stopping power.) Initially, the stopping power wasn't that great, even less than my original linear pull brakes. However, once they were bedded, they were significantly better than the linear pulls. That takes some time to happen, though. It took a few rides for me. Now, I can easily stop, even on downhills, with a single finger. These brake pads are designed for longer life and have a longer break-in period than organic ones.Build quality seems excellent. The actuator bearings have dust seals, which should keep them working smoothly for a long time. The rotors were perfectly flat and smooth. Everything was packaged very securely.As others have stated, there were no included instructions, but it's easy to find websites and YouTube videos showing how to install them. It took some time to setup, but everything is fairly straightforward. If you have post mounts, the adapters aren't needed. The calipers bolt directly to the post. They are quite adjustable and once done correctly, they don't squeal. The calipers work very smoothly. After releasing the brakes, they snap back very quickly. I can't speak to the brake handles included as I used my existing set.My only drawback was in the included rear cable. It was too short for my Haro 22" frame.My factory linear pull brakes were worn out and I couldn't get replacement parts so I needed to replace them. So, I took a chance on this set. I'm very happy I did. Now, I have an upgraded brake system for less than it was going to cost to replace the original setup.

It's decent, you can't expect much for this price my advice is to buy the Avid BB7, waaayy better

Junk - Do not bother1. Brake pad chipped2. Thread for the brake pad tightener/loosener completely gone (was a used item shipped?)3. One strand missing on rear brake cableWaste of time.

WOW... I bought these just to use for 1 day while I was at a brake mandatory bike park. The rotors are exactly the same as my avid rotors. I figured for 45$ i was buying garbage, but these brakes are either really good replicas or just rebranded Avid's.

Works very nicely! Bought to replace a leaking hydraulic brake (who needs to deal with that), there is plenty of stopping power and the adjusting is as good as my other name-brand mechanical disc brakes.

For the money you cannot beat it. I have been using it (Everyday for my 10 mile each way commute) in the freezing weather for the last few days and mild but wet weather in the weeks before that and have no complaint at all. It was great to see when it arrived (fast delivery) that it has a constant run of outer cable to the rear brake keeping the muck away from the cable as much as possible. Smooth braking and and a good value all round brake set. I would recommend for commuters.

First of all,I had to shave the metal slightly to fit them on my standard mountain bike- slightly annoying.However brilliant stopping power, durable all metal construction and attractive anodised style detailing.

Great brakes for prices don't know how they do it for price !took a little twicking to get to fit using spaces supplied to get gap between disc & brake but great stopping power ones set up !
