Edelweiss Creek3 Piece German Oktoberfest Dirndl Dress, Black and Red

I wanted a dirndl that was semi-authentic without the authentic price tag. The material and construction of this one is perfect - no shiny polyester! I have a large chest and ordered based on that sizing alone and it fit perfectly albetit just slightly large in the waist and hips. I agree with other reviewers that the elastic on the sleeve might be on the tight side for some - another reason to order based on your chest size. Also, I recommend the dirndl petticoat for the full effect.

Authentic dirndls are very expensive, so this is still a good deal for something that looks authentic but is still a "knock-off" type outfit. Much better than anything you would find at a costume store and looks adorable on. It does run a bit small so you may want to size up one size. This is a 38 (8) and model normally wears a 6. Also, scratchy backing on the embroidery featured on the lower part of the skirt. Necklace not included but makes the outfit. Apron is very thin and bled on ironing board cover when ironed. We will keep it but wish the quality was a bit better. The blouse seems to be of good quality.

I love the way my outfit for Octoberfest turned out, bur i ordered another drindl from Amazon that cost $39.99 and the fabric and quality was the same as this one! I sent that one back because it was too large, and this one fit perfectly. I wear a 6 (closer to an 8 than a 4) and ordered a 10. Wish i got it for $40 vs $110, but still worth it since I was cramped on time

Not a huge fan of the quality of the material. Very stiff cotton, no stretch in the material to make it flattering. It arrives very wrinkled and even if you iron it I would imagine it will wrinkle again immediately when you sit down. Just not great material. For a few bucks more I was much more happy with the one I ordered from Dirndl Trachten Haus, also here on Amazon.

I’m not sure how they came to their sizing but it most certainly is NOT like any EU or USA sizing. The material is hard to believe its cotton since it feels and looks like plastic. We pressed the oh so many creases out to make it look semi decent. For 110.00 its most certainly not worth it. I’d maybe pay 30.00 for this 3-piece since it pretty much is the same quality as typical cheap halloween costumes.

I love this dress, just the only problem was zipper was broken. The fabric and stitchin on this dress was made great, the shirt is a little on the cheap side but not itchy or made wrong just the fabric was in a bit on the ruff side I give it a 4/5 on shirt. But other that the shirt and the zipper (I am working on returning and getting a new dress) I say go for it. The dress is beautifully made. Oh and go based on your chest size. I went on my waist size and didn't fit even with the zipper broken my chest was to big to fit. So I will be reordering in a size acoeding to my chest.

I bought this dress to wear as a costume for a musical I am in. I thought it was a little pricey when I bought it, and after having received it and compared it with another dress that was much cheaper I am certain that it was way overpriced. You can find something of the same quality for a much lower price. As for the dress itself, it fit as I expected it to, although I did order it a few sizes up as it said to in the description. The shirt that came with it was tight in the arms however, and not really flattering for someone with a large bust such as myself. Overall was the dress nice? Yes. Would I buy it again? Definitely not.

Awesome look and quality! Went a 1 size up when I saw the other reviews... The bodice is still snug...If you are athletically built I would go up 2 sizes, but all in all very happy with the product!!!
