WOW , I GOT MY MANDOLIN BY USPS TODAY IT CAME IN A SECURE BOX AND INTACT WHAT A GOOD LOOKING INSTRUMENT , IT CAME WITH ALL OF THE EXTRAS TOO , BASIC STRAP , PICKS , TUNER,EXTRA STRINGS, CLEANER CLOTH BUT THE GIG BAG WAS GREAT PADDED WITH STRAPS , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MANDOLIN FOR ANY BEGINNER , THE INSTRUMENT WAS GREAT CONDITION AND LOOKS GREAT AND INTACT , I CAN'T WAIT TO TUNE IT AND BEGIN TO LEARN TO PLAY IT , SO GOOD

Sounds great, it’s something I can take camping and walk around the neighborhood.

I requested a return label as the Mandolin was Less than I expected. Tuning keys are so tight I am scared of breaking them when trying to tune. I got the return label but, when we took it to ups they said We needed to pay $20. + to send it back. I requested a prepaid return label almost 2 weeks ago and we havent heard a thing. Very disappointed. Guess I now have to spend more money to get it repaired locally.

You need the guitar skills already and my son does have these. He loves it!!

i play guitar and ukulele and just decided to pick up mandolin for fun, however the tuner doesn’t work at after turning on, and there’s only one peg for the strap (? i’m so sorry if the peg is somewhere else but i don’t see it anywhere)for a beginner instrument it seems decent and finally stayed in tune after about 5 full tunings (which is normal for stringed instruments) and it sounds pretty cool so if you’re a beginner and want something fairly cheap i’d reccomened it but just know you won’t be able to use the strap or tuner that comes with it.

I anticipated the need for better strings than those provided and had pre ordered a better set of strings which arrived a few days before the mandolin came. I was not wrong. While attempting to tune the mandolin, a string broke and my next half hour was spent taking all the strings off and carefully resetting the instrument with a fresh set. Another thing to consider is that the floating bridge will need to be carefully placed and adjusted to rest at a location approx. where the upper middle portion of the f hole cut outs sit. It is about 14 inches down from the bridge nut and strings plucked at 12th fret should be an octave up.

Beautiful! Wasn’t happy with delivery, as it looked like it was tossed haphazardly between stairs. I wish the driver took a little more time, effort and a few steps onto my porch to leave the package carefully at Fortunately there was no damage to product.

For the price this is excellent for beginners it is not a huge investments but it is quality and you can learn easy.
