Nice metal sharpeners should out last the plastic ones I have had.sharpens pencil with ease whether cheap or expensiveGood buy!

Great sharpener
I tried this sharpener at a friends and it was brilliant on my Derwent soft pencils. Some sharpeners break the lead, chew up the wood. This one was brilliant, so I found and bought a twinpack on Amazon.

Much lighter than they used to be
Lighter than before so not so heavy metal now ,can feel the difference between my old one and the new ones just by holding then,, also had stupid paper barcode stickers on them had to use turpentine to remove them as all sticky , most annoying also you receive ones that are quite different from the image shown,

Quality is an issue
Had one of these pencil sharpeners for years. Excellent little sharpener. These ones are not as good quality, and are stamped ‘made in China’. Sure the original was made in EU. Disappointing.
