WOW Evelyn, that's like asking how many jelly beans are in the jar! Each piece conforms in size and they are about 2-1/2 inches long. I have two Goldens and I give them each 1/2 every mealtime which is sufficient. Just guessing, I would say there are 100 to 150 pieces in the 36 ounce back. Each bag lasts me a little over a month.
