I never knew that there were hair products that were exactly what I needed. I thought I needed a lot of hold to tame my crazy hair. Gels, sprays, and the like had hold but also gave me helmet hair. After a decade of giving up and letting it be I saw a review for this product and realized I never tried anything oil based and had just written them off as greasy. I was wrong. I need so little of this stuff to style and you don’t need the hold when your hair behaves better. I even slept on it, got up the next day, and with a little water on my comb slapped my hair back into shape.Not sure if this product is for you but it absolutely was made for me.

I absolutely love this product. I have used it religiously for more than a year now. After trying water based pomades which are essentially hair gel, I attempted other oil based pomades first. The issue I ran into is I would grease my hair on a Monday and it would still be greasy Thursday after showering multiple times. I stumbled across Teddy Boy Slick and figured I’d give it a shot after all what did I have to lose? First time I put it on it went in nicely and my hair looked great! Easily held my hair in place and if necessary I was easily able to re-comb. That night when I went to wash it out it took a single washing and my hair was clean again. I 10/10 recommend this product to ANYONE who is searching for a high quality oil based grease.

Not bad quality, very high shine, low hold. Would recommend for those who like a greasy, old school look. Inferior to other products, but that’s a matter of preference.

I like this a lot. If your unsure about oil-based pomades, this is a good start since it is super slick but doesn't leave a bunch of gunk in your hair after a wash. That being said it isn't the strongest pomade out there so if you have thick curly hair like me, you will get a good look out of this but not a completely smooth comb over unless you put in a little extra.

Good product! First pomade I've ever used. It washes out well too. I have long hair so I think I use more than recommended.

No complaints, good hold and shine but I am definitely a water based pomade over grease based.
