Works great
Score the egg then drop the hammer and the top of the egg comes right off.

Top fell off after 1 month
Dislike the fact that it’s made cheaply because this is not used every day, was given as a gift at Christmas, which means it’s probably been used a total of 10 times.

Works ok, takes practice and not 100%
This was one of the cheaper ones and it is OK. Sometimes it just smashes the eggs, and sometimes it does a nice job. If there are any hairline cracks you will end up with a pile of egg and shell.

Great lil egg cracker
Does the job great .. neat and clean to scoop out eggs . No more bits and pics of egg shell everywhere on counter. No instructions but I think it's pretty self explanatory.

Helpful Little Item!
This item works well, although you may not get the knack until you've tried it on a couple soft boiled eggs. Well worth buying if you like soft boiled eggs.

broke after a few months
The egg cracker worked well enough until the top ball that you pull on fell right off during use. Upon closer inspection, it doesn't look like it was soldered very well to the part that has the spring mechanism. Seems like a poor quality product and seeing as it is no longer available, I guess my hopes for a replacement unit are gone. Off to the recycling bin it will go. Shame because the concept was neat. Maybe someone else makes one that is more durable.

Very slick to use and no meds.
I really like the way it cracks a soft boiled egg. The line is straight and smooth with no chips to pick off or seem to always find their way on to the spoon or piece of toast. It is very quick and efficient.It takes a couple eggs to get the right pressure to pull the plunger back to the right force that is delivered to the egg.

not exactly as advertised
Shipped real fast but the product does not work very well. Maybe need more practice.

Very tricky to use correctly.
I have yet to successfully open up an egg as advertised without either completely smashing it or having it fail to crack it enough. It's a clumsy tool, bad design. Maybe I'll eventually get it to work properly on an egg but considering how hard it is I might as well just keep using a knife as I did before.
