Iwasaki File 200mm Half-Round Medium Cut

I bought this item having watched a video of it in action at the retailers website. It impressed me sufficiently to give it a try. It's not cheap compared to similar items. However, this is possibly the Rolls Royce of these items. It can literally be used to carve! I needed to file down some end-grain on a hollowed round as a coffee table project. This was seriously hard wood from old growth lumber, I'd used a belt sander on it to remove some router marks with little success. Then I used this file, good grief! It did what a power tool renowned for rapid removal of material couldn't. I'm beyond happy with the product and would highly recommend it.
