Prop A Plant Grow Bag Cane/Plant Holders Vertical Growing Aid's (3 Units)

I grew runner beans in grow bags this year with the help of Prop A Plant holders. I think I bought 12 (3 on each side of two grow bags. This little apparatus is amazing and kept my 8ft. canes steady, except we tied some of the canes to the fence when we had a gale in case they got blown down. In fact, nothing blew down and the Prop A Plants certainly did their job. Extremely pleased with my purchase and will keep them safe to use again next year.

Easy to connect together and place under the growbags. Adding the bamboo canes is simple.They’ve been in situ a month so far and I will need to tie in the growing stems to the bamboo soon. I can then properly assess their ability to support the growing plants.

Each support comprises 2 pieces: a top piece and a bottom piece. The top piece is free to swivel in a horizontal plane around the bottom piece, rather than rigidly holding the supporting cane in place. Hence useless for any but the shortest of canes in the lightest of breezes. Wouldn't buy these again.

Used to support tomato plants and cucumber plant.

I am using them in a 8' x 6' greenhouse. I have provided additional support for the plant canes by tying in stabilizing cane cross bracing to the greenhouse aluminium frame.

Clever product

These are easy to use and my tomatoes are growing a treat with them.
