good but...
Nice selection of songs, but the way the tabs are layed out I personally find irritating, the book seems like it was trying to cater to lead players, rhythm players and bassists but just ends up making the songs annoying to learn. It would've been better to just stick to guitar and then do a dedicated bass book.

Not quite the very best of Megadeth
The best of Megadeth?, where the HELL is Set The World On Fire, The Conjuring, Devils Island or Rust In Peace Polaris!?, Angry Again, No More Mr Nice Guy... and nothing whatsoever from Killing Is My Business =(, personally I much prefer the layout and style of the Cherry Lane transcriptions to the shrunken and often confusing and lazy terminology found in Hal Leonard.I was very excited to be able to get my hands on some Megadeth songs to learn but this so called best of just seemed a bit lazy, only 2 songs from ( for me the greatest Megadeth release and the only album which I would strive to learn note for note ) Peace Sells.., but that is just proof of the laziness of these transcribers and the 2nd rate respect which Dave Mustaine and Megadeth mostly received, ok Peace Sells is a very technical album, but judging by all the critical acclaim which Hall Leonard receive, couldn't they just make the effort and try for just one book! and not take the easy hard rock Megadeth-lite route. Also some very confusing information in the legend index.. let me quote a few lines:"The music in this book is transcribed with the utmost attention to detail. However, it is recommended that you listen to the recording and pay close attention to the subtle nuances and untranscribable rhythm of the music..." ??If you are good enough to hear every subtle untranscribable nuances from albums like Peace Sells But Who's Buying So Far So Good.. So What? or Rust In Peace, than why on earth would you need a tablature/music book?.ANYWAY, better than nothing if you really want a physical copy of Megadeth transcriptions, as the fully transcribed albums of Rust In Peace, Megadeth: Selections From Peace Sells But Who's Buying and So Far So Good.. So What, Countdown To Extinction are all out of print or ridiculously priced by greedy opportunistic sellers,Still, you can always track down digital copies of all them discontinued Megadeth music books online for free =)\m/, legally of course.
