Great sized cabinet
I used this cabinet for a home security project. I wanted a cabinet that could be mounted on the wall in a utility room. It had to be sturdy and have a latch or lock. This one fit the bill.I was disappointed that some type of latch was not included. Instead, I had to purchase the very expensive lock made by this same company. The box is of heavy grade metal and contains a number of knock-outs for wire. I used a few of those knock-outs along with cable glands to help keep local insects from making it a home. It isn't sealed, so exposing it to the elements would not be advisable. I do like the fact that rear mounting holes are recessed away from the inside. This allows easier mounting of internal components.

Great value
I looked all over for reasonably priced electrical enclosures that have a hinge & door with hole for lock, and this was the best value I could find. It is working fine, I would buy again if needed. It would be better if it had more holes along the sides for wire.

A basic item that is very well built
It's a pretty straight forward item. I felt a review was needed to compliment how solid the construction is on this box. It doesn't feel flimsy and the paint is perfect (possibly baked on). This works brilliantly for an attic mounting that I require. Small but a very adequate depth to store a backup sealed battery for my application.
