To customise your sign: After purchasing your sign please send SLATEWORKS ONLINE an message using 'contact seller' with your customisation details (e.g. I would like 35 Albert Square in Harrington font on 2 lines please). Text is not relief engraved or painted on it is surface engraved with a laser engraver. I will set the sign out the way I think looks best using Times New Roman font unless you state otherwise. Please note slate is a natural product and will vary it ranges from 3mm to 8mm thick and no two pieces will be the same which I think gives these slates their charm. The slates are cut by hand and may vary in size slightly but no more than 0.5cm. The text colour will vary from off-white to grey depending on the slate used, which is lacquered to enhance the contrast.

All-round good experience
Good value, good-looking product, good quality, arrived quicker than expected and enhances the look of our entrance. The service was excellent - I had a slight issue with my sign, contacted the seller and within days had a new sign finished perfectly. No quibble, no hassle of having to send the first one back etc. Very impressed and would without doubt use again.

Slate thin with rough edges which were chipped - v.low quality. Text looks almost sprayed on with a stencil, so again very poor quality and more yellow/faded than white - would expect to have completely faded after one summer and winter.Very disappointed by overall cheapness of materials and finish - one to avoid.

Sign of quality
Looks great and glad we have it. I would recommend this product and this company who answered our queries very promptly. Puts a finishing touch to the house and helps with our deliveries too.
