A very pretty mid 19th Century miniature earthenware black basalt teapot. Decorated in raised relief. Minor chipping to the cover, foot and pot rim. A professional restoration to the spout - completed by our ex Royal Doulton model maker and decorator. No manufacturer's mark. Measures 5 inches from spout to handle and stands about 3 inches high. Weighs 180g.
