Worth the extra cost
Unlike many of the cheap 12v 30A power supplies on Amazon, this one is actually usable with no leak current (rated for <2ma).I have purchased similar-looking, but cheap low-quality, power supply with bad leaks so I am happy with this one.Plus, this is of lower-profile than S-360-12.PFC was about 60%, slightly less than expected but I only measured it at half-load.It does not have a plastic protective cover over the terminal block, though it is usually not needed for something to be built-in a chassis.

NOT a 5A power supply, but seems to be a good 4.2A power supply
Bought this to replace a fake 60W PS from Aliexpress (it was a 24W unit rebadged and blew after an hour powering a 40W LED string) based on reviews on here. I was pretty bummed to see that this is NOT a 5A (60W) 12VDC power supply, but a 4.2A (50W) powersupply. Thankfully I'm still within in its limits with the lights I'm powering with it, but I'm disappointed at the innacurate marketing. Perhaps the sellers felt that they had to call it a 60W as everyone else was calling their power supplies "60W", even though they're all really 50W power supplies, if that.Pluses - quiet, even when the lights are dimmed. Appears much better made than the other power supply I got - no crooked components, 105C capacitors, heat sink compound between FET and case.Mehs - case gets HOT, too hot to touch for more than an instant, so probably around 65-70C. Be a good idea to put this somewhere with air space for cooling or heatsinked to a bigger case.Cons - not a 60W power supply, so don't buy it if you need to power something that consumes more than 50W. Short delay on switching on (1s?) before the lights come on.

Used packaged as new?
Opened and setup my new power supply today. Cut the shrink wrap to find a plain silver supply. No markings or stickers anywhere. I needed to use it so I decided to trust the picture on the package and set it up anyways. After connecting it and plugging it in I got nothing, no lights or fan. Tested outputs with a volt meter and got nothing. Unplugged and plugged back in to a known good outlet still nothing. Inspected the unit more and found that, even though it should of been on 110 the switch was set to 220. Flipped the switch and plugged it in again and this time got power. Tested with meter and I was able to get it to swing from 11 to about 13.8 before it started cutting out. Connected my cameras to it and everything is working. Fan still hasn't come on so assuming it only runs as needed. I'll check again later to make sure it doesn't overheat and start a fire. Would of gotten a 5 star if I could have opened the package and used it without so much hassle.

Great Customer Service
Update: My unit failed after a few months, but the seller went out of their way to replace it with a new unit, no questions asked and without requiring me to send in the old one. The new unit is working great and I applaud the manufacturer and seller for making this right. Only way I could see to improve the unit is to have a cover over the A/C screw terminals so that there's no chance of touching the connectors. Otherwise, great transformer. I have 3 of them and they are perfect for use under my kitchen cabinets (LED strip lighting). THANK YOU !

Dead on Arrival - Appeared Well Built
Was looking for a power supply for UHF 2-way radios. Reviews looked good for this unit compared to others and bought one to check out if it would be quiet enough and maintain regulation under load. The unit is well built with heavy gauge aluminum. Unfortunately, on removal from the box, it had a burned electrical smell. As an electronics engineer, I decided to test the unit. Confirmed set for 115V and applied input power. No output at all. Seemed this unit was a return as box was open on end. All screws tight except 2 which were output screws. Maybe someone tied the 115V to the output and fried it. DOA was unacceptable, especially with a burned smell. Returned for refund and have gone to commercial supply for the 3 supplies I need (at 3x the cost).

I think it works great.
I bought this to replace the 12v 20A power supply that came with my 3d printer. There was a lot of people on the internet that said 20A was not enough to power the printer properly. Well I have not noticed much of a difference, this power supply heats up just like the other one. However this one has a fan that kicks on every once in a while, so its got that going for it. The bad of this power supply is that it lacks a flip down cover over the terminals, which could lead to accidental short circuit.

Works reliably
I bought this after another 12V supply I bought on Amazon failed on the second day when the main capacitor blew under a light load, powering 4 CCTV cams. This power supply looks better made with the capacitor bedded in a heat sink compound.Comes well packaged with a spec sheet (which the other PS didn't bother with).

You can adjust the power out put
I purchase two of the power supplies and they have worked very well and solved many of my problems with the quality of my DVR's picture. No more waves of dark lines across the picture due to poor ground and low out put of power to the cameras. I've had the two power supplies for about four weeks now and are very happy with them. I can't speak about how they will hold up over time but if I get two years out of them I will be very happy.

Unit Dead On Arrival
Unit was dead on arrival. Problem was a cold joint on the terminal block on the "L" signal. It is a pity that such a basic flaw was not caught at QC. Disappointing. I will never recommend a manufacturer that can't even spot such a blatant cold joint at QC.
