This sucker is fantastic it opens cans like they stole from it. The big handle is great for my arthritis almost no wraist or hand strain. It zips through and the magnet pops the can right off. Thinking of buying a couple more for Christmas presents.

Liked the handle, but that’s it. Less than a year old and it is all rusty. Cleaned and rinsed acter every use. Waste of money and this one was 2x the cost of others. I will be buying the cheaper ones and throwing them away when they get like this - and still save money.

Latest Review: Please do not purchase. This stopped working properly. It consistently skips spots while cutting the lid on usually 3 spots for each can. I have to use a P-38 survival type can opener, which is hard to use, in order to get the 3 missed spots twice a day to feed my dog. I am a retired Navy, Air Force and NASA engineer. I got this crank type commercial grade can opener because we are seniors and we needed an easy to use and reliable can opener. The plastic handles slide off while using as well.Previous Review: I bought this commercial grade manual can opener to replace our 10 month Hamilton Beach electric automatic can opener which stopped working. My wife and I are seniors having some strength loss in our hands. I have to open two cans of dog food a day, so the can opener needs to be easy, reliable and affordable. I can't use the standard manual can openers because the small crank handle hurts our hands. This new commercial grade can opener has been working well for me. It's still tough for my wife to use. Hopefully I can get the electric repaired under warranty so my wife can feed our German Shepherd when I am not around. I recommend this manual opener. Wish I saw this opener first before I bought the electric opener, so I could have saved the $40.
