SKAVIJ Kurta Pajama for Men with Jacket and Stole Festival Wedding Suit Dress Set

My fiance' bought this to go to my sister in law's mehndi. We're Puerto Rican. So glad Amazon sold this to help us fit in. This was bright in color and gorgeous. But I didn't want him to upstage my brother who was getting married. So we had to return it and buy a slightly darker color. When he wore that one from the same seller, they all thought he was Pakistani. Lol. Awesome! My fiance wanted to keep this one because it really looked so good. He tried this one on at his job to show his co-workers who are all Indian. They loved it and wanted to know where he bought it. The price is fantastic.

Very nicely designed and good colors. Still I feel more color can be added. Because some colors are very shiny. Still its good according to price and design.

Everything was beautiful but the pants. Huge in the waist and seat, and could not get over my calves on the bottom.

Pros: The style is lovely. The color is really nice. The whole suit is quite masculine, yet the sherwani is intricately detailed with beautiful stitch work. Whoever does the detailed stitching is quite the craftsman. That work is impeccable! The thread used on decorative stitching is very nice. That’s difficult to see in pictures. In person, it’s eye-catching! After making repairs, the suit is very nice on the hanger.I purchased one size up; in India, he was fitted in a size 42R suit. I chose the 44 since a sherwani is like a long vest and not an actual jacket; for roominess of the kurta, this was a good choice.Cons: The fabric is see through in the light; however, the layers do provide protection from seeing under garments—my husband will have to wear a t-shirt underneath in case he desires to wear only the Kurta and pants.The fabric is stiff. There are no washing instructions. I’d like to have it cleaned and pressed before his trip, but I don’t want to ruin it. I’ll have to contact the company. I believe cleaning will soften the fabric and make it more pleasant to wear.At almost $60, I was not expecting to have to make repairs before I could even hang it up on a hanger. It was frustrating to have to work the very cheap drawstring through about two feet of waistline! The stitches at the opening for the drawstring are coming apart on this brand new item—as you can see in the picture. The openings are large/the drawstring is cheap: even after I’ve tied knots in the ends, the string will likely get lost back in the waistline again and again—I just hope it can survive the Africa mission trip!There were various stray strings that had to be trimmed off—not from the fancy stitch work, only from the basic pattern stitching which is poorly done. It’s really a shame that construction stitches were not as worthy as the fancy stitches!The pant middle seam for the crotch is single stitched with no serging on the edges. (All the garment seams for pants and kurta are single stitches with no finished edges, but the one where you sit is really the most important.) With this type of silk, I anticipate shredding. I fear after the first wear that I’ll likely be sewing the pants back together properly.Lastly, the gems on the Sherwani were doubled in some places, glued on upside down in others, etc. For $60 from India I would expect gems that could be sewn on. The suit he was fitted for in country was about the same price, yet the quality is night and day.Overall, I still rated the garment 4 stars. I would give it less, but I just can’t. I do hope the manufacturer Skavij will look at my comments and choose to IMPROVE!

I loved the outfit and it fit perfectly as described. Not too big, not too small. I did not receive the scarf as part of the delivery, I don't wish to return, but could the seller contact me and ship the scarf please? I assume it was simply forgotten.

It's good one but but cloth quality should be good.
