Really useful tool, Wish i had started when he was a puppy but this is honestly a useful bit of kit, You can either skip cutting completely and just grind it down or you can cut and file so they’re shorter (you can get closer to the quick with this) and less sharp! Its not noisy at all, and its similar in size to the dremel tool. the 2 guards work well and help keep you safe (you can not seriously injur yourself unless you really try). Its easy to use and does not trigger my hand condition when using it. !!!!BE WARNED AND TAKE PRECAUTION IF YOUR DOG HAS HEAVY FATHERING BECAUSE THE SPINNING STONE CAN TRAP THE HAIR!!!!

Has a light.Yes it's very quietly difficult but by dog did shake as she wasn't sure what was happening. As I trained her with the nail clippers originally.Much faster job leaving nails soft no narly scratchy sharp edges .Perfect but I wish it had a course head to gey the job done even faster then attach smooth grinder. Never mind still much faster and neater.

Love these! So easy to work with. If my dogs nails are long I sometimes clip them a small amount then use the file for the rest of the job. Easy to work with and good battery. Dog still doesn’t like his nails being cut but at least he’s not dramatic about it 😂

I did have a look at another model and wasn't impressed with the noise level of the build quality, but I can see why this one is a big seller. It has the feel of something designed to last for years, and all the features you might want.My dog (miniature poodle) was a little uncertain at first, but the trick of having training treats on hand had her relaxed and used to it in only a few minutes.It takes a little practice in order to know how to apply it to a nail, how hard to press (not much at all) and for how long. I find that lighter touches for a second or two at a time is enough. Take your time, make it relaxing, and just shorten the nail little by little, rounding off any edges as you go.I still use clippers for a regular full groom, but for maintenance work these things are great.

Quiet and charge lasts a long time.Would like the lights to be all the way round not just on two sides. Easy to use and nice quality.

So much better than cutting the dog’s nails with clippers She was a nightmare. Even the vet gave up. Obviously takes longer than using the clippers but whilst I wouldn’t say the dog enjoys it at least she doesn’t snatch her paws out of my hand. It’s a much better experience all the way round.

Safe to use, my dog is still scared of having her nails cut, we've only managed to grind 2 of her nails, personally I think she's had a bad experience. So I can't say whether it's good or bad.
