Meant to mount to the seat stays.
I like this light, it feels sturdy and it stays on for the whole commute I make to work (roughly 1.25 hours) and stays put. It charges pretty fast. The mount is meant for the seat stays on the back of the bike. This makes it hard to mount with the included hardware easily. To mount it to other places, you have to remove the screw and washer from the mount and put it on the seat mount or figure out a different mount location. I chose to mount it to a hole on the rear of my rack. This puts it where I want it and it gives it a flat mount. The proprietary mount system- the light screws into a base and is fixed in with a silicone seal which is what makes the light waterproof, this worries me. I rarely break rear light mounts but, if I break this mount I'm left figuring out a kludge fix it, and probably finding some epoxy.Overall it's a nice little rear light, that works well, but has a mounting system that forces you to DIY if you have a rack or bags.

Works well, but instructions are confusing
This little bike light packs some punch. It is very bright and has several different modes, although I have yet to figure out how the automatic ones work (although I can enable them - I just don't trust that they work until someone follows me - if I figure it out, I'll update the review).Out of the box, it came over 70% charged and uses USB-C. The included cable is 12 inches long and the light cannot be charged while screwed into its base. However, if you have a bike pouch and small battery charger, this will let you charge the light "at your bike" instead of having to bring it in. The manual estimates 10.5 to 33.5 hours of use on a single charge, depending on what mode you are using.Installation notes: if you use the post mount, just beware there's only one correct way to mount it (if you mount it wrong, the light will point about 15 degrees down - something that could easily be overlooked). If you mount to the bottom of the saddle, there are some flimsy zip ties (something I wasn't going to try until replacing them with something a bit more sturdy). My only other real issue is that the instructions are difficult to understand in part because they are poorly translated.

Brake light for my bike!
One of my favorite rear bike light. Build quality is solid, the brake light housing is metal. The mounting bracket however is plastic. A little bit worried about this part. Very easy to mount, and comes with two options to mount. It is bright. My favorite is the auto brake sensing, auto on and off. “Set it and forget it”!I will be holding on and using this for a long time!

Runs two weeks between charges, one of the best I've tried.
This taillight is one of those smarter sensing taillights. I'm guessing it has gravitometers to sense speed changes. That means there's a chip that does the computations. That means this isn't just a simply power circuit device. It's got a chip in there, ladies and gentlemen. At the time of this review, this is some 25 dollar bike light. I know electronics, and from China, they are a dime in a dozen so doesn't surprised at how cheap this is. But despite it being a cheaply listed item, I've used this for over a month now, and I've only need to charge it twice so far. This means the circuitry requires low power to run it, it's efficient. It also means the battery-pack doesn't have a ghost-drain somewhere. This is the perfect combination for being a reliable bike light.About how the light functions: My wife rides behind me when we go cycling out on the park trail. And she says the braking activated light is automatic and is spot on. She can see both my speed decreasing while the light lit up. And the light output has a strong output so it's easy to see. This all makes is feel safe because the rider behind can get notified of events ahead. I like this light a lot. I hope on the next product they can add the left and right turn signals in amber color and also include a rail attachment module on the handle bar so the cyclist can flip the left-right turn switches. That'd be perfect! I love this light, it is a minimalist add-on and makes me ride safer out there. Highly recommended!

Auto brake light works as advertised! Convenient USB-C recharging. Instructions a little confusing.
It's easy for even one person to test if the automatic brake light works just by rolling the bike by hand and stopping it fast. It works! The red light gets brighter.Mounting the light socket to your saddle rails is simple but I messed it up and installed it backwards the first time. That was 100% my fault. I wasted two little zip ties, but they include two extra ones so it was no big deal. Plus little zip ties are cheap. It easily unscrews from the mounted socket to recharge. A center LED will flash blue while it recharges. The instructions were hard for me to decipher. I only use it in one mode: long-press to turn it on, which also turns on the automatic brake light. Just like a car, the red light will be on all the time, but will get brighter when you brake. Simple and works.

Neato But Not Quite Ready For Prime Time
So great mounting, the lights are bright and relatively easy to use. The problem comes in with the auto brake light, which should be the coolest feature. Unfortunately, it is too sensitive. Coming on and staying on way to long. So mostly you're riding around with your foot on the brake pedal so to speak. And it's also goofy trying to tell if it's in auto or manual mode, so you're always checking it. 3 Stars.
