StebaSV 2 Sous Vide Cooker, 800 W, Stainless Steel/Black

Good temperature control. Time and temperature easily set. Water bath rapidly attains required temperature - though I usually fill with water from hot tap to start process. Has been used primarily for cooking for two people - though there are 5 spaces for food with the enclosed rack. There is a vast reserve on sous vide times and temperatures on the Internet. And following these - up till now - have produced consistently excellent results. Though must stress am amateur cook .

Very poor design. Has a silly little pump which gets blocked up very easily with even the smallest amount of residue. If you put a vac pac bag in the machine which covers the little hole pumping water into machine, which is right in the centre on the bottom, the water doesn't move around the machine and the temperature does not hold or maintain accuracy. If you want a good water bath that wont die on you get the SousVide Supreme Water Oven, 10000 times better for £40 more!! When sent back to the customer service team to fix it, Roberto tried every excuse to tell me it was out of warranty and had to pay £60 for a new little pump!!
