This is a good buy for Halloween. It comes sealed, and you have the option of both a pale, fleshy tone or clear. I like the clear better because the flesh tone is too warm for my skin and will be too light on others.Now for the bad. This has an eye-wateringly bad smell. I mean that literally. My eyes were tearing up as I was using it. I also found a random chunk of hardened latex in the middle of the bottle.Oh, and I'm also a little allergic, so I won't be using it again, but that's a me problem. Patch test!

It definitely looked real and did the job, it was just really runny and could’ve been a bit more thick? It was like spraying red juice on my face lol. But it does the job, I got what I payed for. Also, it’s very easy to get off with warm water and soap so that’s good :) doesn’t stain or anything

My kiddo is in theater and was going over bruising, cuts and other effects. With just the products in here she was able to create a very amazing (and realistic) looking gash on her arm.The makeup is very smooth and goes on easily. The bloods are excellent and do NOT leave a residue or dye your skin (or the table they fall onto while applying :) ).The application pads are sturdy and very useful.If you are doing any special effects for Halloween, school projects, or you just wanna scare your friends and family, this kit will do the trick.The only thing I would add is possibly some Q-Tip type material and maybe a few toothpicks to apply the blood into the cut.Great kit!

Gel is a bit of a misnomer. This is a wax.It's fabulous colour and it looks brilliant but note - it does not dry and so you will not get flakes and it will smear onto material (like upholstery) User beware!If you're looking for a prop to create dried blood, this is not it. If you're looking for some theatricals that won't get touched or engaged in action,(and therefore smear unconvincingly) this is perfect. If you're looking for something that will smear in a 'live action' situation - this also does you well.

Easy to apply. Looks realistic - looks like thick gooey congealed blood . Washes off easily. I used it in a theatre play where characters had to have wounds applied really quickly and it was very effective and realistic
