I realized that patience would be needed, and yes, the printed instructions are slightly off, but common sense prevails and since I've assembled a number of items that shipped in a flat box, this was worth the patience. It's sturdy, good looking and fits the spot that I wanted it to fit. Would I buy a second file cabinet knowing the patience needed putting it together? Yes if I needed a second cabinet. I would certainly consider this cabinet before looking elsewhere to have a matching set.

It is a really nice filing cabinet overall, very attractive. Like the flexibility of the file sizes. I wish I had spotted that the lock only locks the top drawer, otherwise I would not have gotten it. My only other meh issue was the laminate top cracks real easy when putting in the screws, even by hand. Not a big deal as they are mostly hidden and they provided stickers.

I needed a 2-drawer file cabinet plus an upper 3rd drawer for small desk items. And I needed good quality full-extension drawer hardware. The only all-metal candidate was the junk item I was replacing. Flimsy and cheap. I wasn't happy about buying and needing to assemble ANOTHER fiberboard piece of furniture. But, the description said full-extension, heavy-duty, and the price was very attractive. This was probably the highest manufacturing quality, with the best fitting pieces and hardware, that I've ever assembled. And the assembly instruction illustrations were among the best. These drawers aligned, work beautifully with full loads in them, and it's a great-looking cabinet. I'm very happy!

The lock is low quality and only the top (very small) area locks. It is not a locking filling cabinet. It just has one drawer that can lock. I'd like to return this item but it was difficult to assemble and the screws stripped, so it's not coming apart again.

Great file cabinet, but beware it does need to be put together, there is a lot of pieces and it will take some time so have a little patience. The top drawer is nice and a handy thing to have. We got this for our home office and love it.

This is very difficult and time consuming to put together. I did not realize I had to put it together, and it took some time over several days so I wouldn't get frustrated. Looks good once complete and is sturdy, but I would of rather bought one put together!

This is not at all what I expected. Only the top drawer locks. It has giant sticker on the top with a child warning that leaves a sticky residue. Its like IKEA furniture with terrible instructions. I am looking for something that comes pre assembled.

It has not just one, but two drawers for my folders which is exactly what I had been looking for. The color perfectly matches my desk and it's a very popular color in small furniture nowadays. The assembly instructions were straightforward, although it did require a couple of hours to put it together. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone in need of a functional and stylish filing cabinet
