Seems to be working ok now, but had issues when setting it up. The instructions on the pack do not make sense as it tells you to plug it in the device but then restart the phone with its own cable. But how can you do that when the other cable is connected? Anyway after a couple of attempts, got an error saying this device isn't supported. Uncoupled and recoupled the cable a few more times and it worked on the iPhone 5s. All seems fine since then.Also I got confused reading other reviews for this product that talk about Bluetooth, as this cable is not a Bluetooth device, weird.Product arrived on time as well which is a bonus

The splitter works fine, however sometimes it doesn’t work and when iPhone plays music through speaker (disconnecting and connecting again usually fixes that). Sometimes there are little clicking sounds when listening to music. But other than that it does what it says on the tin, I bought it mostly to be able to charge and listen to music at the same time when travelling so it good enough for what I need it to do.

Perfect adaptor. My sister had her 3.5mm jack broken on her iPad. I suggested we buy one of these; came the next day as I have Prime so it was no issue with arriving on time.It arrived, plugged in and works perfectly! The fact that she can use it whilst charging makes her life a lot easier and instead of paying well over £50 for someone to repair the 3.5mm jack, we paid for this and it solved the issue.

Whenever using, I can hear a weird zapping noise. I have confirmed that this is not just my headphones as I have tested multiple pairs. I can only get the headphones to register half the time. Usually even if I have headphones plugged in the noise still comes out the speakers of my iPhone. To get the headphones register I have to plug in the charging cable. Sometimes not even this works. Product NOT recommended!

Not a good unit I am returning it this weekend - it will charge & allow audio from iTunes but NOT from FACETIME this is so weird. I will be getting a more upmarket & reliable solution. I need a reliable unit that works seamlessly with my iPhone - not a hit & miss solution.

This is a very low quality item. Both the charging capability and headphone output do appear to work together on an iPhone7 so technical this item does solve the problem it sets out to. However the audio quality is very low. Most notably is the audible noise (hiss), secondly there are sporadic poping sounds in one ear. I'd highly recommend considering another option.

Unable to use the product because of the EMC noise it creates on the earphones while listening to music

Product works brilliantly so far, have been using it for for 3 days in my car for my iPhone 7, so I can still listen to music through my car speakers via the auxiliary. Great value for money, I’m really pleased
