I wear a size 14 wide shoe, and it is very hard to find high quality socks that keep my feet dry and comfortable. I used to buy Merrell XL socks but they stopped making them a few years ago so I turned to Amazon and ordered about 6 different brands to try out. These Cloudline socks were the only ones that fit comfortably, especially around the ankle - all the other brands I tried dug in painfully in that spot. I think these socks are just so much more soft and stretchy, it makes them more comfortable to wear.I have now had Cloudline socks for a couple years and they are still in great condition (even though I do toss them in the dryer on delicate occasionally). On top of that, I have ordered directly from the company a couple times and their customer service is absolutely outstanding.The two styles I buy and love are the XL light cushion 1/4 running sock, and the XL medium cushion hiking sock.

This is one of my go-to running socks. I wear it all year round except summer (too hot). They keep feet warm in winter/fall/spring, without making feet sweat. These are one of the few socks that don't cause blisters or black toenails, because they are cushiony enough to protect my toenails. The thickness is great for cushioning my heels They feel soft and smooth. They wash up great without any shrinkage in the washer or dryer. I bought many pairs of these and they really last! Highly recommend!

Got the light quarter socks and love them. The fit is spot on they are so comfortable. I'm in the process of going to all merino socks and these are at the top of my list.

I like socks that don’t slip and stay dry for playing tennis. I have size 13 shoes and most athletic socks are hard to find in XL size. These CloudLine merino wool socks hug my feet perfectly without being overly tight. They are very comfortable and stay dry.

This is my third pair of cloudline socks. The first two pair are going strong, but, I just wanted another pair handy as the cold weather is setting in. I use these for running and like the 1/4 top to keep my Achilles from rubbing on my sneaker. They are very comfy and keep my feet warm during the winter runs. I highly recommend!

These are great wool socks. The majority of rook socks on the market are either very thick (often advertised for hiking) or very thin (dress socks). These socks are “normal” thickness, everyday socks and they are high quality. I will be buying more.
