Despite being higher on the pricey side, this is a wonderful product. Before this, I had the cheaper siphon that you find a dime a dozen on this site with a bright blue pump. It was messy and inefficient and pulled a lot of plants out. It also couldnt reach under the soil where a lot of debris was lying.This pump has a narrow nozzle that can reach under the sand and soil and remove the waste. It is also less messy and doesn't spill water anywhere. I am so happy I got this product.

Flimsy but does the job .Perfect for small tanks. The diameter of the tube is small for big tanks.It will take ages to drain. Mine is a 10 L cylinder which is 60 cm tall so this works perfectly.Be carefull with small shrimps.Price should be 500 rs because there is nothing special about this tube it just works.

Poor quality for planted tank may work for non planted tank

First of all don’t think the price is on higher side. Since it’s imported product the price you pay make sense for the value it provides.With the duck bill head, it’s a wonder. Works like a charm to clean fish poop and other debris from the bottom of my 150 liters tank which has river sand bed. With my usual siphon pumps I always end up pulling out atleast 1-2Kgs of sand every time during maintenance. But with this Gravel cleaner I ended up sucking out just less than 500gms of sand, but the whole of debris and waste from my tank is easily cleaned within siphoning the first 10 liters of water.A definite buy if u value maintaining ur aquarium with a balanced ecosystem. Saves a lot of time.
