12 Hand Crafted Shabbat (Jewish Sabbath) Candles - Blue Water

Very nice for times when you want candles a step above the plain white taper candles. These are also good as display candles for those nice candle holders you rarely light but leave out on display. They are listed as Shabbat candles, but size wise they are standard taper candles and will fit in almost any holder.

Safed Handcrafted Candles are simply the best. They are beautiful and are long lasting. Even if you don't burn them, you can put them in your Shabbat candle holder in between Shabbats. They are so wonderful though. The flame is bright and clean; they don't drip all over the place (but will drip if tilted.....catch 22). The are really clean burning though. Safed are just about all that I use now. Here is a buying hint!: Buy more than one at a time and have the shipper reduce the shipping costs. If you can buy three packs at a time you should save money.

I purchased these candles as part of a gift over the holidays, and I was disappointed when they arrived in an envelope with no packing material. The box was damaged and the candles were slightly scuffed as a result. Amazon usually does a great job shipping, so this was surprising. The quality of the candles seemed just fine, this was a shipping problem.
