This product worked great, however, after I used it, I figured out I could just use Bondo, with the same results. Bondo (plastic filler) is about 1/4 the cost of this kit and you get much more filler. Plus you have to use this kit all at one time and can't save the filler, once you mix it up. With bondo, you can just mix up as much as you need, for as much as you want to do that day. My vinyl fence got damaged by golf ball and chicken egg size hail. Many holes are in the fence. Estimates for Replacing the damaged fence came out to be 5000 dollars and insurance only gave 1000 dollars because they say it depreciates. (a bunch of b.s. if you ask me). So, bondo it is. It does look very good and beats paying 5000 dollars.

I am a perfectionist/very artistic person. I followed the instructions perfectly. I had two panels that needed patching (from BB gun holes). Both looked great immediately afterwards. The only way you could tell they had been patched afterwards was if you were less than three feet away or looking at it from the side (it was dull compared to the sheen of the fence. At the time, I would have given it 3 stars because it did disguise the holes well, but it was also a high price for a one-time use kit.After about three weeks, I noticed that the rain was starting to leave these gray streaks where the patches were. This knocks my review down to 1 Star. A kit that expensive should have a longer lasting result. Next time, I would try the epoxy method that others on here have recommended (it’s basically the same thing). If you only have a few panels to patch, it might be even cheaper just to buy a new slat.

I had some trouble with the putty knife that came with the kit and my first coat went on choppier and less even than I hoped. Sanding helped. For the second coat, I used a foam brush I had and it made the final appearance of the second coat much more even. That said, this is a great product. The sticky patch itself is very bright white, but when you put the coating on, the paint gets very close to the fence color. From a distance, I can barely see the repair. I had a hole that was straight through the fence and could be seen from a distance and now it is invisible. Very good product.

I purchased this product to repair holes in my vinyl fence at a rental property. I think the tenant's kids had just run around bashing holes all over it or something. I was panicking thinking I was going to have to buy four or five entirely new fence panels. I did some online research and found this product, and I admit I was skeptical. I figured it would look like most patch kits, which is to say pretty bad.Anyway, I had someone at the house helping me do some repairs and clean-up. I asked him to take a shot at patching the holes. He had it done in about 15 minutes, and I swear I can't even tell you where the holes used to be. One kit covered all of the holes in the various fence panels. I was amazed! I really can't say enough about how well this product works. You won't be sorry if you purchase it, and you will be glad you didn't have to replace entire panels for nearly $100 apiece.

This product works great. I had a very large area to repair, (after running into the bottom rail of a vinyl fence) with multiple cracks and spots missing pieces. The repaired areas are not noticeable at all, even if you are looking right at it up close. I should mention that it did take two repair kits, (very large area with both sides of the rail broken) mainly because I really wanted this repair to be flawless. If you take your time and prep the repair area correctly, you will be very satisfied with the results. The color, (white) matched perfect. The only issue was the rail was quite old and discolored so it took a little time to clean the rail up to insure a good color match. Great product. Would recommend it to anyone that needs to repair their vinyl fence.

I rarely write reviews, but since I am on my 4th kit, I had to share how HAPPY I am with it. I have a teenage son who plays roller hockey and shoots pucks EVERY DAY on the driveway. Of course, he has damaged our vinyl fence a couple times, so FENCE DADDY has solved my problem very quickly and easily. It takes patience and focus to use, and I can't say that I've applied it "perfectly", however I know it's done a great job when I have to look super closely to find where the original damage was! That's a pretty good sign. Look no further to repair your cracked vinyl fence. This kit is THE BEST in my book and I will continue to buy it in the future, since I know my son will miss the net a couple more times ;)

We patched multiple holes in our vinyl fence. The product was easy to apply. The putty knife was hard to use since it was so efficient it would take all the product off that I just put on. I didn’t even press hard. I do not recommend inhaling this product once mixed, you will lose brain cells. The worst part is that the color ended up being way darker than what was printed on the box. Before I started, I held the box directly up to my fence and it was a perfect match, otherwise I would’ve returned it. At application I realized it was too dark, but I thought maybe it would dry lighter so I kept going, like the instruction said, since you can only use the product once and can’t save for later. Now I have multiple dark patches on my fence. Very noticeable. Urgh!Important! DO NOT REPLACE THE CAP BACK ON ONCE YOU ARE DONE. THE BOTTLE WILL EXPLODE!
